Implantation bleeding or really early period?? (1st OV since coming off BC)

Hey there, I'm hoping that people who have experienced a long delay between coming off BC and getting their first AF can tell me their experiences of when AF arrived. For me it's been 12 months. I came off BC last March, I have a history of a pituitary tumor and have been on BC for 13 years. As I'm sure everyone can relate to, I waited with baited breath for my first OV...and nothing came! It's been a bit unsure whether I can conceive by myself due to medical history, with possibility of endo help if not. At 6 months I saw the Dr, who can refer me in 5 months time (will have been off BC for 18 months by that point), so I've waited fairly patiently! This month was definitely different, I just knew I had OV'd, and OPK and rise in BBT confirmed what I hoped. 6dpo my bbt dropped by a degree in the Morning, and then in the evening I went to the toilet and when I wiped (sorry, tmi), there was blood - first time in a year! Huge relief, but confusing as I'm sure I was only 6dpo. I've had light bleeding for 2 days, yday was what I'd class as medium and today is light. I have had very light cramping, and nipples have been sore since OV, but I have not spots or PMS symptoms. In fact, my lovely husband says I look radiant ❤ Unfortunately haven't been able to take a proper bbt reading since to see what's happening there because hubby does shift work and I haven't been able to take it at the right time/with enough hours sleep before, but my temp this morning had gone up from 96.38 at 6dpo to 97.17 today at 8dpo. So is this perhaps implantation bleeding? I know the only way is to wait and see, but I'd be interested to hear your views! Thanks ladies!xxx
