Two Week Wait .... another one ....

Hi everyone! I am facing down my TWW (AF due 22nd of March) and thought, after looking at other threads of the same topics who are on the BFP/BFN now, I thought I would start another for those with their fingers crossed for late March BFPs.

I am on cycle 8 TTC #1, have used Preseed for the first time, I am taking Evening Primose Oil and I have the DH on Vit C. I am feeling really positive having DTD the day before and of ovulation, but can feel the paranoia and counting down days setting in. I feel all in the same boat can lean on each other as we try not to POAS :-/

Anyone in?

Can I join please! I’m ttc #2 and currently on the tww for cycle 2. I think I’m 9 dpo but I’m not sure as last time I was ttc it became apparent my cycles are all a bit all over the place and can be long!

The past couple of days I’ve had a funny metallic taste in my mouth and increasing waves of nausea. I’ve also been a bit scattery which was one of the first signs when I had my DD. By the time I got home today I had basically convinced myself I was preggers so took a test and it was... a BFN! Is it too early? Part of me is hopeful it is but the other part of me knows it took a while last time and that I’m probably overthinking things (and maybe even creating symptoms in my head...)

Also the test I used was only a cheapy from my local supermarket and I’m not sure how sensitive it was... it was 25mui/ml does that mean anything to anyone

@Presh12345 I know how you feel. I had a MC at 8 weeks. It took me 7 months to conceive that pregnancy and then it took me another 7 months after MC to conceive DD1.

@Member642266 you still have time to get the BFP! I think I'm only a few days ahead of you and I tested BFN this morning on a cheap test. I too feel like I'm pregnant now, more than I did when I was pregnant with DD1. I didn't even suspect pregnancy with DD1 until AF was 1 day late. Also, try using FMU tomorrow. I think if you're pregnant now it's still too early to test using a mid day pee.

@Stephisaur Is it possible the pinkish discharge you're experiencing today is implantation bleeding? If you're AF is due the 20th the timing seems right for implantation bleeding. Is it out of norm for your AF to show up this early? With my first pregnancy (the one that ended in MC at 8 weeks) I had implantation bleeding. I don't recall too much but it was a few days before AF was scheduled to arrive as well. I did not have any implantation bleeding when I had DD1.

@BrownEyedGirlv2point0 it might be possible but trying not to get my hopes up 😂 I have no idea what’s “normal” for me as this is my first “real” period in 10 years (1st cycle off the pill)

Have decided if no AF by Sunday, I’ll just use a FRER. Would rather waste one and know I’m probably out for the month than wait until next weekend 😂 don’t want to test on a weekday as it’d have to be before work xx

Thanks @BrownEyedGirlv2point0! I’m the same, I definitely feel more like I could be pregnant now more than I ever did the first time round! I’ve got another test so might try again in the morning (who I am kidding, I have a test sitting there... I’ll definitely be trying again in the morning) but might see whether the symptoms come or go over the next couple of days and wait to see what happens when I’m due on the 21st... then again I’m not very good at waiting 😬

I'm out :( trying to think on the positive side and at least I can have a drink this weekend

@member642266 so the 25 iu (international units) is the amount of hcg that needs to be in your urine for your yet to pick it up, first response is the lowest with 12iu, I think you can get some internet beans that say 10iu.

I’m the same as you I’m 4 days late, tested everyday from 7dpo-13dpo all bfn. Ten got a positive at 14dpo like a squinter but defo pink bit it literally vanished before my eyes 🤔🤔. I haven’t really had any symptoms of pregnant or AF. I’ve convinced myself I’m jot pregnant and I’m being silly wasting money doing more test, but sam as you it took ages to eat my positive with my son. If I’m not pregnant I’ll be so surprised because in my fertile period according to ovia we did it the day before and basically every other day up to 3 days after it ended, and on the day I Od according to clear blue. Doing a clear blue digital in the morning because the stupid delivery man o lot just delivered them now!

Thanks @TTCnum2, that makes sense! So the test I’ve been using wouldn’t be a sensitive one? There may still be hope!

So, I bit the bullet and went for it again with FMU this morning and it’s still negative 🙁

Feeling like this might not be my month and I might be spotting symptoms that aren’t there because I really want it!

Good luck with your test this morning @TTCnum2! I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you! When I fell pregnant with my DD I was surprised at how few symptoms I had!

I feel some BFPs coming today.
For me AF is due tomorrow. No big signs yet but do feel realy nauseous this morning. Will try to resist testing.

@member642266 I had a bfn this morning too 😔 so frustrating isn’t it!! If I’m not pregnant I just want af to show up now I’m 5 days late so I can get going again! I did take the clear blue digital test apart which I know invalidates the test, but there was a clear as day 2nd blue line. I wonder if that means anything or if that test works a different way because it’s digital?? Good luck to everyone else! X

Oh, sorry to hear that @TTCnum2. It really is so frustrating! I’m not very good at not having control over things and this definitely feels like something I have no control over! It feels like guess work and even when you do follow the ‘rules’ and dtd on the right day, the right time etc it’s still not guaranteed 😒

I’m not sure about digital tests but my logic says there’s more to go wrong if you get what I mean? Maybe try a sensitive non-digital?

I think my symptoms are starting to go today... the metallic taste in my mouth seems to have died down and my boobs are less sore! I’m still getting the waves of nausea but I think I’ve just stressed myself out to be honest!!

@member642266 exactly that, it’s silly but I almost feel let down by my body in a silly way, and then make myself feel like a hypochondriac and that I should even be waisting money on tests! It’s so annoying!! I think I’m just going to wait another few days and hopefully af shows or I’ll try and test again.

Symptoms watching is the worse isn’t it! Constantly squashing my boobs but nothing! I suppose we just have to wait a bit longer and 🤞, can see how I can be 5 days late without a bfp if I am pregnant to be honest x

I’m going to do a Superdrug test today I am 11 DPO and childfree today so will pop rlto Superdrug to get a pack. I haven’t tested since 9DPO. I’m still a bit confused I’m on CD31 but I got a good dark positive OPK on CD20 does that make me 11 or 10 DPO and also how can yo be sure ? I can’t symptom spot as I think it’s not that accurate. With DC1 though I had very tingly nippples but tested negative around period due then positive 5 days later. With CD2 I didn’t have any early symptoms yet tested positive early on (not sure DPO) but had a clear blue pregnant 1-2 weeks

I just POAS... I think I see it!!!! Yesterday was an obvious BFN but today looks like a tiny positive! Ugh and now I feel bad going for a couple of drinks last night with coworkers.

Maybe tomorrow it will be darker if you tested yesterday and saw nothing? :)

I was a "definitely not testing early* one and today I poas at only 7dpo 😂 stupid idiot I just felt a bit excited.

Nothing at all, well I thought I saw a shadow but I looked so long I think I went goggle eyed and was imaging them in the end.

@cloud9889 I’d say it makes you 11dpo, but once you have a big surge in LH hormone and your opk pics it up really darknor doesn’t mean you’ve Od that day, once you have the surge you normally ovulate 24-48 hours after, so to confuse things even more you could even be 9dpo!!

You’re right I think symptoms spotting is useless only expirience, all o had with ds1 was watery discharge (sorry tmi) and needed to wee a bit more often, thy was it!

I've managed to resist testing so far...

Still experiencing some spotting, still nothing much of a muchness and has gone from pink to rust to brown. Stopped last night but back today.

Just want my body to decide what it's doing!

Lol @TTCnum2. Shocking isn't it. I just feel different though evertime I've been pregnant in the past I've know or should have known and I kind of feel like that again.

Knew I shouldn't have picked up the cheap HCG tests at the weekend.

I even downloaded an app to invert had had about 10 pics in different lights lol.

I found a window sill on a dark background with a ring around with flash seemed to work the best.

I'm definitely having to resist the urge to go buy more tests in my lunch break... even though I tested this morning, it was negative and if anything I feel less pregnant than I did yesterday! There just this little bit of me that thinks if I buy a more sensitive test...

I'm just using an app and when I think i might have ovulated for my DPO! How many days DPO is it best to start testing with the sensitive tests? The app says its 5 days till AF but it also says my cycle length is 25 days which seems to be too short from previous experience but then that was 5 years ago so I cant really remember!
