Clutching at straws I know but start of a line??!

So I was stupid and took a test at around 9dpo this morning and I swear I can see the start of something. I can personally see it in normal colour but my phone isn't the best so inverted pic is attached.

I know I'm clutching but after having a miscarriage last year I'm so desperate :(

It's really hard to tell with that picture - can you post the original?

Hi

Thanks for replying.

Attached normal pic x

I can't see anything, sorry..

Eyedontknow · 27/02/2018 07:47

I see what you're talking about, but not sure if it's the start of a line either. It looks kind of like the dye has only spread across the top in the normal pic. Retest?

Squashpocket · 27/02/2018 07:51

Definitely get a FRER. And wait a couple of days at least if you can (although I know it's hard!)

ItsLikeRainOnYourWeddingDay · 27/02/2018 07:53

These tests are cheap for a reason. They are SHIT. Buy a frer.

Mangopr1 · 27/02/2018 07:54

I keep thinking my eyes are tricking me but when I look at the pic I can see it. I can see it in real life bit better but it's hard to get a pic that's as good 😣 thanks for replying. I'll try a FRER at the weekend if I can hold out that long x

I can’t see anything. In my experience with those tests then a faint line is always obvious. If it’s not obvious it’s bfn.

Stee1 · 27/02/2018 08:09

I'm the same. But I know people who didn't get a faint line till 2 days after af due plus 9dpo is still early ( says me who is also testing)

I really can't see anything sorry, plus the fact that the dye has spread would make me think that test may be faulty anyway.

Bambamber · 27/02/2018 08:44

I can see what your e talking about, but unfortunately I've had that several times with those tests and I'm not pregnant. It doesn't mean that you're not pregnant, It's just too early to test for a reliable result

FutureFairyCrayon · 27/02/2018 12:54

Sorry, I can't see anything either. The dye spread across the top is usually just where it hasn't finished pulling through, did you take the picture quite quickly after dipping the test?

I'd try again in a few days. I have had a positive at 9dpo on a cheapie that was clearly visible, and have never had any issues with dodgy results using them, so I wouldn't bother wasting money on a FRER until you can actually see something definite.

Fruitcocktail6 · 27/02/2018 15:11

It looks like the dye has leaked. I've never had any problems with those tests, and with both pregnancies the line was very obvious. You're testing too early.
