Bd on o'd ONLY. am i still in with a chance?

Hey ladies. Im new to this and have searched high and low and have now decided to start my own thread on it hoping to get some positive feedback!! So it was my first time using opk and i got my first pos on cd11 but couldnt bd as hubby got called to work early, then a VERY dark pos on cd12 (assuming i o'd then) so i BD that morning. following morning it went lighter again but still dark enough to be pos, then gradually got lighter as the days went on. Im now on cd14 and still no af with no usual pms signs but am gettin wierd quick sharp twinges in the vajaja an slight nausea only in the evenings. Is it possible ive concieved as ive had bfn every day since 10dpo using fmu. Or am i just clutching at straws? Please help! X

You can say sex here. And yes if you had sex on ovulation day of course there is a chance you will become pregnant. If you’re only on cycle day 14 then surely you have at least 2 weeks before period is due??

Sorry ment to say cd14 which would mean its exactly 2weeks now since i ovulated. I only came off the pill in december so have only had 1period. Not sure if im classed as late now though?

Does CD mean cycle day? Cycle begins on the first day of your period so if you ovulated on cycle day 12 you are now on cycle day 26? I wouldn’t class that as late yet. I would probably give it to at least day 28 but probably another few days on top of that to be sure. Did you have sex any time after cycle day 12?

I conceived girls a year apart from only my having sex on day 23 of a 28 day cycle each time!!

Yes cd is cycle day. So day26 would be right. Its only because ive read that your period comes 14days after the release of the egg if its not fertilized so assumed today would be when im due on. But i shall wait a couple more days without testing. Didnt have anymore sex after that. Bd = babydance/sex. Smile i just hope that one day was enough as this month was a struggle with my husbands work schedule.

Well it is always only one day that causes pregnancy. It’s just a case of getting the right day and having all the right conditions going on inside. It’s very early days for you though so don’t be getting too stressed out. Test in a few days and if you’re not pregnant just keep going. Fingers crossed for you!

DD2 and now current pregnancy was from BD on O day only. All it takes sometimes...
