Did your cycle go back to normal after a chemical pregnancy?

In January I had a chemical pregnancy, pretty much got my bfp then the bleeding started not long after. My question really is would that count as cd1? I’m usually 26 days for my cycle so going from that I’m 3 days late but did a Sainsbury’s test this morning and bfn so I’m assuming AF is coming soon but no idea when and feel a bit in limbo.
I know that everyone is different, but I think I’m just looking for people’s experience on how long or different the cycle immediately after a chemical was as I’m driving myself a little bonkers here. Much as I never want AF to arrive, if it’s coming I just want it to hurry up!

Sorry this has happened. Chemicals are shitty but imo /e need to be moved on from ASAP emotionally to ensure you have the mental strength to ttc again. I ovulated 2 days later and af showed 2 days later than usual. No reason to suggest you won't conceive fully next time.

After my first early loss @ 6 weeks I counted the first day of bleeding as cd1 and I ovulated on cd20 (usual for me is cd17 so 3 days late). I conceived again that cycle but lost at 5 weeks. I have since ovulated again on cd17 so bang on time this time x

My period came 6 weeks after bleeding started with MC. I was not quite ready to see “blood” again and I must admit when I came on this time, I broke down in tears as it took me back to when it all happened.
I think I’m going through some sort of PTSD? It’s such a lonely journey as everyone thinks I should be over it by now and happy I’ve got my period.
Sorry to rant on..... I’ve had a shitty day Sad

@Kate8989 I’m so sorry that sounds awful, this is your grief and you’re allowed to still feel it, it isn’t up to anyone else to decide when that should end.
