First Response Rapid Response evaporation lines

I took a First Response Rapid Response four days before my period was due yesterday and got a slightly coloured line that got darker after the ten minutes. Convinced myself it was an evaporation line.

Tested again this morning with FMU. Thought it was a BFN. Went to put on clean pyjamas, cake back 2-3 minutes later and there’s a very faint line. Barely a squinter in regular light but a definite line when you shine a light through the back of the window.

How common are evaporation lines on these tests? Would an evaporation line show up within 4-5 minutes? It’s a bit grey but definitely light pink with a light on it.

I’m planning on retesting Thursday but I’ve heard FR tests don’t show evaporation lines so I really want to have hope but I’m new to this.

Update...

So the cramps I've had for 5 days got really bad last night, and have now subsided.
Just getting the odd twinge.
The brown discharge has gone 🤷🏻‍♀️

Af is due from tomorrow-Sunday, so I guess I just wait it out. Hope for the best and potentially if there's no show I'll re test Sunday.

@MonaTheMoaner hun wondering if can help me out I've done 3 today 2 being 6 day early first response and one being a rapid result first response. They all have come up with a veyy faint line like you said with yours looked grey but defo pinky to it and one I thought was negative til 2 mins past the 3 minute wait noticed its more pinky on edges top and bottom 🙈 is it possible to get 3 evaps with these tests xx
