Heavy period or early miscarriage/chemical pregnancy?

I'm on my period currently.
It's by far the most painful and heaviest for a long time (maybe in forever).

Me and DP have been TTC for 5 months and nothing so far.

In the days leading up to my AF I had very sore, heavy boobs and tingly nipples which were also sore. Feeling very nauseous, cramping. Also spots on my chin and jawline which I don't normally get...and bloating. I assumed bad PMS, but now the period is here, I'm on day 3 and the pain has been bad from day 1, it's not as bad now but still cramping. Quite a lot of clots and I passed a huge one this morning. Bigger than I ever have before, I felt it drop out and everything.
Lots of dark red blood (tmi).

I was wondering if this could be a very very early pregnancy loss? I know it's highly unlikely but I just thought considering the amount of blood I'm losing. It's very unusual. Anyway, it could just be a heavy period.

Do a hpt and if it's a chemical you would get a positive.

Being perfectly honest it could just be a heavy period mine varies month to month. I wouldn't even torture yourself about early miscarriages and chemical pregnancies, I wouldn't do a hpt what good is that going to do You? Ttc can be a long painful journey. Hope your not suffering to much sending lots of baby dust your way x

I had this happen twice and both times Iv had a bfp on 8-9 dpo. They were early miscarriages unfortunately. My bfp turned negative before bleeding set in so taking a test now would not work for you as my hcg probs only reached around 15 as it only ever showed up on first response tests

@Nikki2ol6 I never tested that early, I will from now on.

Sorry to hear about your losses.

I wonder if mine was, it certainly feels different from usual.
