Hopeful congratulations lostmybaubles I hope you get your FRER! I'm now D10 PO and considering getting some decent tests. No symptoms though so really not hopeful. I found Asda own tests to be good last time, picked up before clearblue.

Yep Baubles it's so early, there wouldn't be enough HCG to show up in the afternoon yet so don't worry! Check again tomorrow with FMU

@lostmybaubles During my research this morning I read that at this stage your HCG level is only around 16miu so to get a result you’d need a very sensitive test and def FMU. Try again tomorrow morning x

Turns out my body is playing horrendous tricks on me - Just had the longest cycle I've ever had

Feel so emotionally drained compared to when was TTC my son / daughter.

Oh well next month is a whole new month.

It's my sons birthday tomorrow so need to buck up get over my disappointment and get baking a cake. All I really want to do though is curl up and cry - How pathetic and selfish it that

Hello. I hope people don't mind me jumping on board late in the game.

I was on an earlier bus under a different name. This is a tough cycle for me - one year since we started TTC, and, if I hadn't miscarried, a few weeks before I would have been starting mat leave.

I'm wondering if I'm being ridiculous to still be holding out hope. I'm CD27, AF due today according to FF - cycles can be a bit erratic - and 13 DPO. I got a BFN yesterday on a First Response but my temp is still above cover line (through not much) and part of me is wondering kidding myself that maybe FF got my ovulation date wrong? I got a positive on a dual hormone ovulation test on Friday afternoon which is when FF decided I ovulated but I thought the positive might suggest ovulation would start the next day. I have had cramping like AF due to start for three days now, which is exactly what happened last time I was pregnant.

I've attached a photo of my chart. The last few days temps are all over the place as I was up at 4.30 yesterday, 6.30 today, 5.30 Tues. I thought they were dropping down to AF but the increase today makes me wonder if it's just the erratic waking times? But at 13 DPO, I should have a positive, right?

I’ve been feeling very irritable and down in the dumps the last 2 days, probably af on the way!.. not sleeping well at all as I can’t take my mind of getting pregnant then when I do sleep i dream about it.. this 2ww if the very worst

I feel like I’m just going crazy now. Can’t stop thinking about when I can test. Think I feel more frustrated this month as it’s completely unclear as to where I am dpo wise. I think to keep me sane, I’m going to see it as I’m 7dpo, then if there’s no bfp or AF by 12/13dpo, I’ll adjust it I just can’t cope with accepting I might only be 3dpo or less right now lol

Sorry to hear that Patienceofatoddler, I've also had much longer cycles since ttc, it's really evil.

Welcome canttestright, this must be a very difficult time for you. Ovulation does usually occur after the positive test so if you got one on the Friday it's likely you ovulated Saturday or even Sunday. I don't know much about temps but it sounds like you have some good signs

Thank you @Triskaidekaphilia - if I convince myself FF is wrong and I actually ovulated Sunday, then yesterday was 10DPO and my bfn may have just been too early. Right now I feel like I need another day or so of hope, even if it's false hope. If it's negative it's time to start further tests and I just don't want to admit that to myself yet.

@canttestright I can relate to you with pretty much everything you have said

You aren’t out until AF arrives, and your chart looks fine at the minute with it going up again today! I personally think these apps can be wrong quite a lot too. Keeping my fx you get your bfp x

All these symptoms etc can't have just been nothing

I'm Pakistani and we have a spicy curry most nights and very rarely get heartburn. Last night it woke me up and the curry last night wasn't actually all that spicy!

The 2 ww is getting to us all now

I have period cramps tonight. Probably nothing though and definitely not af. I feel like I wish I could just fast forward this 2ww to the day I either get a bfp or af! It’s all so frustrating

canttestright I know exactly what you mean about preferring to have hope even if it’s false hope. I’m actually quite glad I tested today. After worrying about should I, shouldn’t I for ages beforehand. Of course it was completely inconclusive but at least I felt I was doing something! It’s torture just waiting and constantly thinking it over and over.

Fia I had the odd twinge bottom of stomach groin area kinda thing.
Going to be shopping sales tonight so will keep me a little occupied

Ah girls I totally relate to everything you've said tonight. I'm still hoping the sperms lasted 5 days for my ovulation last week as we didn't even dtd in fw nor have we since. It's ok though actually knowing I'm not pregnant is easier this month than the am I/aren't I I usually have in the 2ww
All the usual post ovulation here sore boobs mainly...

@Fia256 I'm usually a few days behind you so if you test before the weekend I may test Sunday!

I did another bloody test (diff to the ones I've been doing) and it wasn't a frer just those cheap ones and it was negative.

Now I'm prob clutching at straws but I'm telling myself it wasn't proper fmu as I drank so much before bed and needed to see at2am
Also telling myself that I'm not due af until the 30th so stop bloody testing until then as it's too early

Morning ladies. I did a frer this morning, and within seconds a second line could be seen! However it was barely there but I could see it and the lighting in that room wasn't great. Looking at it now 10 mins later, it looks negative, so I'm going to count it as a bfn and keep my fx I might get a bfp tomorrow on the day I originally wanted to test.

I've done soooo many frers over the last few months, and this has never happened before which is why I don't feel like I can automatically assume it's 100% bfn. But also trying to manage expectations as my temps would seem there's a great chance that ovulation didn't happen unless the thermometer is broken

Ahh baubles sorry your having a confusing time with the tests! I honestly think it's probably way too early for you that's all. Everything else sounds positive for you so I would say wait a couple days, splash out on a frer and then test

I tested again this morning.. BFN. Not disappointed, AF due Wednesday going to try and wait now till then. I only came off the pill the end of October so we'll just have to see how long it takes my body to adjust!
