BFP? Or BFN?

Did a test this afternoon, I don’t think I can see a + if I’m honest but at first glance I thought I could. This was taken after 2mins. AF is due in 2 days. Have ordered some FRER’s.

I always think blue tests give off a shadow of positive it’s a pain in the arse! Prefer pink dye, Iv seen people inverting the picture to a negative and seeing the line more clearly good luck ❤️

Do you still have the test? Daft question but have you shone a light behind it or taken it apart. Must don’t recommend(don’t admit to) do this but I always did it just to check! I’m not proud of my actions

I did shine a light behind it & there's a faint grey line next to the control line. I've woken up with a pulling pain really low in my pelvis area.

Is it possible to get a false negative on a first response? I just struggle to believe that both clear blues came out as they did & yet first response was much harder to see. I wonder if it'll be worth booking to see the doctor next week. I'm struggling to deal with this nausea & headaches. It's doesn't stop until around 11am

@CocountGal Yes! I took a first response on Wednesday that was negative, AF was due on Thursday but didn’t arrive and I got a BFP with a Clear Blue yesterday! The first response didn’t even have a hint of a line and the CB one came up as a positive instantly!

@littlebumbles was there any reason behind the false negative?

I don’t know, I had brown cm and cramping on the Thursday so was sure AF was arriving but it had cleared up by Thursday morning so decided to take the CB test, I’ve just taken the other first response this morning to double check and there’s two lines, it’s quite light but it’s there!

I tested five times last weekend CoconutGal super faint line (DH couldn’t see it in any light), then three BFNs. Then the next evening a faint BFP (now lots stronger). I just knew I was pg (four previous pregnancies, one child). Hope you’re doing ok.

@Lifeofpies - I feel different, all week I've had this nausea in the mornings & it really affects me because I just can't manage to eat.

Very mild cramps this evening, feels like AF is on the way ☹️

Just an update: over last week I had 2 very faint positives & the 2 frer ones looked negative too. I haven't tested yet this week. Nausea has worn off & even though AF is now 2 days late I just don't think it's going to happen this month. I'm going to hold off till next week & if there's still no AF, I'll test again. Thank you everyone for you help over the week. I've been a bit emotional through all of it & now I'm feeling pretty silly thinking the negatives are right. ❤️

@CoconutGal I always found with clear blue that they gave me false positives and first response would always show the evap line! I would use a different one :)

Can anyone help me at all please?
My last AF was from the 26th-30th October 2017, most months my cycle is around 28 days however I do have the odd month here or there where I have up to a 33 day cycle. My app said ovulation was due around 7th of November.
So I thought I'd be 7 days late.
However I think that this cycle may be one of those long ones. I never had the Ewcm around the 7th November like I normally do when I ovulate! But I had a veryyyyy big surge of ewcm on the 16th of this month. Me and hubby have dtd a few times around then!
I worked it out that if Ovulation was on the 16th then I'd be due on roughly now.
Usually when I come on it's bright red straight away and I don't tend to get spotting, as soon as I get some come out I usually come on that day and get bad cramping!
However yesterday afternoon I went to the toilet and when I wiped there was a pale pink discharge on the tissue. Then nothing for an hour, then when I went again, there was some brown discharge when I wiped, again not a lot! Then Iv had nothing since!! Iv had a slightly dull ache per day. But not af pains!! Do you think it could have been implantation bleeding ? As it would've been 11dpo if I ovulated on the 16th November
