Sperm Meets Egg Plan

So TTC #2 (dd is nearly 3). I've just recovered from hypothalamic amenorrhoea and regained my period 16th Oct. We TTC that cycle but no luck.

Although I got a positive OPK on CD18, I suspect either I didn't OV or my luteal phase was too short as I had a 28 day cycle.

Now I'm on CD6 of cycle #2. DP and I are going to try the sperm meets egg plan. Has anyone else tried this? Would love to hear any experiences whether or not it worked.

@Gem173 yeah CD1 is the first day of your period. So for example my period started last Monday, finished on Friday and I started dtd yesterday, CD 8.

So you dtd CD 8, 10, 12 etc, until you get a positive OPK. The day you get a positive, you dtd that day, the next day and the day after. Then you take a break for 1 day and dtd one last time the after that.

I guess an example would be CD8 (sex), CD10 (sex), CD11 (positive OPK, sex), CD12 (sex), CD13 (sex), cd14 (no sex), cd15 (sex)

I might need to get the red bull in!

@gem173 well I got my bfp on 2nd December but now think I am miscarrying unfortunately. Got an early scan on Friday to check it out. But will definitely try the sperm meets egg plan again when we TTC again as it does work.
