TTC November thread!

It was really nice to have the support of fellow MNers last month!
So here goes... November TTC Thread!
I'm 24, have 1 DD who is 3, DP & I have been TTC for 4 months now.
Fingers crossed this month is my lucky month!
My ovulation dates this month should be somewhere between the 5th and 14th, with the 9th & 10th at highest LH surges.
So will be testing towards the end of the month, not looking forward to the 2ww...
Anyone else with similar timings?

I'm 31, ttc #1 and on my third cycle. Due to ovulate tomorrow according to my app, not temping or using opks yet. Af due on the 17th and I have decided I will not test this month unless I am actually late. Self control!! deep breath

I know the struggle of trying to resist testing! I buy those cheapy cheap stick tests- bout £3 for 10, this helps stopping me spending out on all the expensive ones.... I've promised myself I won't buy any expensive tests until AF is due!

Same here. Cycle 2... due to test tomorrow. Currently at Doctors as I think I have a kidney infection ☹️ Good luck too all x

RockingLobstering nice to see someone in similar fw, a lot of people seem to be testing earlier in the month.
I'm 29 ttc#1 this is cycle 5 actively trying although been off the pill since March. FW from 11th-18th af/bfp due around 28th
Is anyone trying anything different this month?

@merrz story sounds familiar! I'm in v similar position - aged 28 and ttc #1. Cycle number 3/4 now as unsure if first cycle was very well timed really. I know it's still early days but everyone I know who has had a baby it happened in their first or second month max, including my mum, 2 colleagues and a good friend! have actually bought a Persona monitor as I think I am unsure about when exactly I O..

3 days until I can supposedly test! (According to clearblue site)
Have managed to hold off peeing on sticks up till now, reckon I'll end up buying a clearblue one soon despite having 25+ cheapy test sticks...
How is everyone else holding up?

3 days until af is due! I suppose thinking about it I could probably test tomorrow but I promised myself I would wait until the day and I've not caved yet! I was feeling really hopeful for a bfp earlier in the month but I seem to have lost that hope over the last few days. 🤔 Not really sure why though.... Fingers crossed for everyone!

*@RockingLobstering I'm CD 17, think i've had ovulation signs over the last 24 hours or so. DTD last night and planning to again tonight or tomorrow am so fingers crossed! Didn't use opks and feeling a lot more relaxed about it all this cycle, think because been busy at work and all the Xmas chat/planning starting so keeping my mind occupied. How you feeling? Just want the next 2 weeks to past quickly

Got AF although was weirdly short like 2 days of proper AF then spotting. Anyway trying again and this month using my persona..

Goodluck everyone! Ergh I feel so behind haha - I’m either 4dpo or in my fertile week - I don’t track with OPKs but kinda wish I had now. Ovia is saying I’m in my fertile week whereas Glow and Flo say it was last week!!

Goodluck @Merrz! I’m now 6dpo I think. Had sore boobs and heart burn today but surely it’s too soon for symptoms?

Tested this morning on a cheapy cheap stick test, BFN as expected but testing with First Response tomorrow.
Major sore boobs but no other symptoms as far as I'm aware-- and boobs could be incoming period related anyway.

Goodluck for tomorrow @Rocking! Fx! My boobs are now verrrrry sore and I went to have a glass of wine tonight and it tasted vile! Strange for me. Trying not to get my hopes up too much though. Think I can test Tuesday/Wednesday.

Think it's another BFN but also think I can see a second line faintly. Opinions anyone?

8 dpo here now. Boobs still sore, weird crampy feeling and a small pain on my left side today - trying not to get my hopes up but it’s getting harder!!

Good luck to all of you...looks like this month was indeed my lucky month! Now to get through the next few scariest months!

Wooo Congrats lobster! I find FR really good for very early BFPs.

CD11 of cycle #1 here and starting the opk testing with internet cheapies. Negative so far. Im playing it by ear this cycle because ive not long come off the pill. FX to everyone in the 2ww

@HoneyCake am at a similar stage, cd 10. this month have stopped bbt temping as I have done it for the past few months and it has reassured me that I have a regular temp rise etc (so good sign of ovulation). Trying to be more relaxed now and just do the old every other day bd technique. Am going to use opk too though and trying to do my persona but that takes a few months to learn cycle.. good luck everyone
