October has only just begun but it's not the month for me so here is the November Bus ready for anyone to join me

To the point I wanna sit down with a hot water bottle and not move
Also some boob and arm pit pain 🤔 think I might have over dine the stretching to clean past few days

Lots of like period pains
Next period due in about 10days

Currently in 2ww. AF due around 27th Nov. This is all quite new to me as I was lucky to fall pregnant with DC1 straight after coming off the pill and didn't think I was going to so hadn't been on tenterhooks waiting to test like I am now.

DH and I have decided all being well we are going to pay for private scan on 23/12/17 which will be 10 weeks and then tell both families later the same day when they come to ours for an early Christmas celebration late the same day . It's hard not to get carried away with excitement , hoping all goes ok!

Thank you @lostmybaubles 😊 I had tender breasts 9 days before I was due and then cramps for the next 2 days which went away until 2 days before af was due again! It’s so frustrating - period cramps & pregnancy cramps are SO similar. I’ve had more ‘pregnancy’ symptoms prior to this than this month. As hard as it is, it’s just a case of waiting out those dreaded 2 weeks to really know. The only real difference I can tell (for me!) now is that the cramps aren’t as bad as af and there’s almost like a pinching up there (cervix? Uterus? No idea!) Best of luck 🤞🏼

Congratulations on all the BFPs! @Sunshine1984 I'm on cycle 5 at the moment so seeing you get your BFP is helping me not give up! I'm more relaxed this month than before, not bothering with symptom spotting at all because it's not worked for me so far. I'm going to do a FRER in one week's time.

@snoozymcsnoozeface i felt exactly the same this time! I also thought it won’t be the end of the world this month or next if it doesn’t happen as I can enjoy all the festivities and from jan baby would be a sept/Oct baby rather than July/August which isn’t ideal school wise .. but low and behold, that’s when my BFP has other ideas! I am of course over the moon! GOOD LUCK!

I have July, August, sept babies

My July and Aug babies are more 'advanced' and reached milestones way before my Sept baby.
They might be the youngest but they get all that knowledge at a younger age which is fab

My 4 yr old (July baby) is nearly at the same reading level as my 7yr old

@lostmybaubles I know it’s very early days for me so I don’t want to get ahead of myself but that is so reassuring with regards to your little ones - thank you! So much negative press on July/August babies - I’m sure it’s just all down to the individual children and the level of schooling/parenting they get. Sounds like you have a very bright 4 year old! July/August birthday celebrations will always be nice too! :)

I had this panic the other night that the potential baby would be August. However I'm a summer baby and I did ok (n=1 study but it works for me )

I'm a primary school teacher and some of the summer borns I teach do struggle, but then so do some of the older kids! The difference is most noticeable in Reception, as children born in Sept-Dec just look so much older than the little summer borns who are barely 4 when they start. That said, with good parenting, you can prepare a newly 4 year old for school. My friend's little girl
was only 4 in July, and while she looks little, she's doing really well at school. They might find it a bit harder leaving mummy etc to begin with, as they've quite literally had less time at home, nursery etc than the older kids, but children adapt really quickly.

Congrats @canoechick, @MrsKrantz*,*@MyEternalSunshine and @Sunshine1984! Yay to all the BFPs! I got a BFP on Sunday ladies, but won't be joining the July thread just yet, as I lost my last pregnancy to MMC at 12 weeks in August, so I'm really really nervous this time round.

Joining because I'm finding the 2ww excruciating this month(probably because I got my first ever positive opk so I know when the wait actually is!). 4dpo I think as positive opk on Sunday and ov-like pains midday Monday. I'm 27, TTC #1, cycle 5, BFP/AF due 26th-28th.

Congratulations on all your bfp everyone that’s great to see! Af is now 6 days late and still getting a negative but in my last pregnancy I didn’t get a bfp until I was 5 + 3 so I’m not too worried! I’ve had a bit of bleeding since last night but only when I wipe and it’s only spots of blood so I’m thinking hopefully implantation bleeding but we will have to wait and see! Due to test again on Wednesday if AF hasn’t arrived by then!

Hello everyone! May I join? I’m another one who is not enjoying the excruciating 2ww - also due on around 28th! No symptoms at all but then I guess it’s still early days. Had what I can only describe as a false pregnancy back in June when I had all the symptoms and was utterly convinced I was pregnant but it wasn’t to be. Now I don’t feel I can trust my body- or my reading of it- anyway. I’m not feeling very lucky this month but I keep letting myself think “what if...”

Hey @MissDollyMix .. the 2ww is never fun. I convinced myself I was pregnant back in July - had all the symptoms but I wasn’t. This month my symptoms have been no different to every month, except cramping less I’d say, and I got my BFP! Good luck!

I’m now 4+2 and the main difference is just the severe tiredness! Baby dust to all 💖

I know how you feel MissDollyMix it's like there's one voice in my head really sad because it's going to be a BFN again and this other voice saying this is my month- and the rational in between voice is nowhere to be seen!
And I've been 'sure' a good couple of times since trying and it was nothing so this time I'm trying to focus on any (basically all anecdotal) ways I can 'help' implantation rather than symptom spotting, which does help my mindset right now but I know its going to make it extra gutting when AF shows :(
