Hi, i cant help but I lost my left tube due to an ectopic so I have the same worries as you. Would love to hear some positive stories xxxx

ninjapants · 28/09/2017 18:58

Yes. I had a ruptured ectopic, had previously had a miscarriage (I suspect another ectopic but it resolved naturally). Both of those pregnancies took a long time to conceive. I became successfully pregnant 6 months after my tube was removed. I suspect it was damaged and that was why I'd struggled to conceive before. The pregnancy was straightforward and DS is now a happy, healthy four year old Smile

Try not to get too disheartened, I know it's hard but there are many women like me who I'm sure will be along to tell you their success stories soon too.
Keep believing that it can and will happen for you, good luck Flowers

Thank you and im sorry youve been through the same
This was my 2nd ectopic but i have had a child inbetween ( not with my current partner and we are desperate to have a child together ) the 1st ectopic was caught earlier and i had an injection but no way of really knowing if both ectopics were the tube that they removed?

Im 11 weeks and lost my right tube 5 years ago through ectopic.

I ovulated on my right ovary so my left tube must have flopped over and wafted the egg in was my doctors explanation. My early USS shows was defo my right ovary.

Have not been trying since 2012. This was Cycle 2 of TTC that I some how worked.

I had quite a bit of spotting until about 9 weeks. Spent the moment I saw a positive test until 6 week seeing an embryo in my uterus paranoid it would be ectopic again. I don't think there is a way round those thoughts as ectopic tube removed or injection is so traumatic.

My mum lost a tube with her first pregnancy and went on to have 4 kids without issue. My sister lost a tube with her first pregnancy and went on to have 2 kids without issue Smile

I had a tube removed when I was 17 and I've conceived naturally and without meaning to 4 times.

Littlebelina · 29/09/2017 15:04

Yep. I conceived after loosing my right tube. If you do conceive again you should contact your epu (or GP if your epu won't let you self refer-think most will after an ectopic) to get a early scan to check it's in the right place as you have higher odds future ectopically. Good luck

My mum had a tube removed when I was born and then went on to have my brother 😊

Me! I lost my left tube after an ectopic and now have DS1 and 2 - both conceived naturally - and DS3 on the way. Wishing you the very best of luck FlowersSmile
