Well I think so...did a test, quick look seemed negative so binned it. For some unknown reason i double checked hours later......could I get excited?

I wouldn't trust after the time, try doing another and see what happens

To me, that is clearly a positive. My early pg test all look like that and I still have them.

I would say test again the line is to thin and off centre. It also only looks like half a line. Good luck x

How many days past ovulation are you? It looks like a positive to me to, but I'd retest first thing tomorrow morning to check.
I had similar with DC2: the cat pregnancy test was reading positive (she just knows. It's creepy) so I did a test. It was a faint positive after about 10 mins, but I was still several days off when my period was due so it was never going to be strong and instant like 'happy accident' DC1. The next day it was still faint, but arrived in the time window.

I'm not sure as Pcos means it does vary. Cycle day 29. (But not unusual to have a period any time between 28 and 38 days)

Recent bad experience means I really wouldn't trust a blue dye test ever again.
Try again with a first response with fmu.
Is it a clear blue test? Although I don't trust them, I thought they had to be read within 3-5 minutes but the instruction leaftlet with mine said to read within 10minutes.

Had that exact result on that exact test, they're notorious for false positives. Retest with a FRER or cheapie pink dye stick (NOT Superdrug)

I would take that as negative. There have been lots of threads on here with people getting odd lines like that and not ending in BFP. Do a frer to make sure.

Its a negative I think. Well no AF today but definite neg pink test. Ahhh well.

Looks like an evap. Blue dye is nortorious for that and I had a fair few of those test results when I was not pregnant. Try a FRER, and stick within the time frame

Leave those tests long enough and they very often come up with a line like that - thin and off-centre. It's an evap. A true positive line should run through the centre and be wider than that.

Just to update. AF is here so above pic was negative. To be honest, this has really helped me make my mind up. It was sad to see my DH so excited at prospect of another baby but in reality I think we're best sticking at two anyway. I don't think I'm physically or mentally fit for a 3rd round of sleepless nights and we're very lucky with the two we already have.
