Too early to tell - could I still be pregnant?

Not actively TTC yet - however we've only been married six weeks so still in the honeymoon stage.

I've had a few cramps in my tummy (like light period cramps) additional discharge and this morning I woke up at 5am incredibly nauseous with lots of saliva in my mouth. The veins in my breasts also look more prominent / more blue.

I've taken an early signs pregnancy test which is negative. However my period isn't due for another 12 days and apparently that's far too early to tell.

Am I possibly pregnant or just sick and haven't realised it yet?

You won't be able to tell for 12 days for sure but I'm sure you could use a first response test 4 days before your period is due to check (but be aware HCG doesn't always show up on a test that soon.)

If you have 'standard' 28 day cycles and your period is due in 12 days, you would have only just ovulated a couple of days ago.

Fingers crossed you'll have the result you want in a couple of weeks - but for now I would strongly suggest you try not to symptom spot too much as it really doesn't necessarily mean anything.

PS- I hope you get the result you want! 😭

I meant ❤ not crying face!!
How embarrassing.

Agree with pp, you would have only just ovulated or be at your fertile stage now so you would only be a couple of days pregnant if you were, far too early for a test to be positive. Try and hold on till your period is due and you should get an accurate result.

The 'symptoms' you describe would be caused by ovulation if they're caused by anything - at 12 days before your period you aren't pregnant yet; all anyone can say is that you might or might not become pregnant over the course of the next 12 days.

Ps if you're having unprotected sex, you're actively ttc...

Okay - update. Six/ seven days out from period. Pregnancy test looks clear, but some angles it looks like there's a super, super faint line there.... a

Will check nearer to period.
