FAint line on Superdrug early detection test and then negative clearblue yesterday. Period

I got the very faint line on Superdrug early detection test yesterday, followed by a negative on a clearblue digital three hours later. I then had the usual AF today. Is there any hope?

That's positive. Congrats!

(Clear blue are notoriously late to the party when it comes to BFPs)

Sorry - misread your last bit. Did your period start today or is it spotting?

Them tests are awful for this I had the same thing a few months back and was never pregnant. There was lots of posts on here that had really bad reviews of these x

Is it a proper period or much lighter than normal? If the latter, do another test in a few days time. If it's a normal period then I'm afraid the likelihood is that you are not pregnant after all. It is possible that the egg was fertilised but that the embryo was let go at a very early stage by your body, often because there was an abnormality. Most women will have at least one of these very early miscarriages in their life and the majority will not even realise it has happened (unless they are testing) because the "period" is only slightly delayed or not all. I'm sorry that it doesn't seem to have worked for you this month and hope it happens for you soon.

Unfortunately there are many many women on here who have experienced faulty Superdrug tests where they get a false positive. It's alarming how many actually. I would personally only test if AF is late and with a FRER brand only.

I had a false positive on a superdrug. It was an evap that showed within 3 minutes. They are awful. Sorry it made you so hopeful...

Hugs. Be kind to yourself.
