FRER is very popular and seems to be trustworthy (first response early result).

Heratnumber7 · 05/08/2017 08:15

Best in what way? Easiest to use, most accurate, clearest display?

I think they're all pretty accurate.

cherryontopp · 05/08/2017 08:49

First response are really good for picking up earlier testing (before your period is due) But once your period is due, almost all of them are accurate. People on here always say the pink dye ones are the best.

I used a first response and clear blue and both gave me a positive.

First response for testing early! Line is very clear and I got a bfp before any other tests.

Thecomfortador · 05/08/2017 16:21

I used a quality save two for 89p test the day after af was due. Strong pink line. No need for any more.

I think the cheap ones you get in bulk on Amazon are absolutely fine. They pick up early, if that's what you want (all three of my pregnancies picked up by 10dpo). If you use them my top tip would be to take one when you can't be pregnant just so you see what a snowy white negative looks like. An early positive on them is very faint, and if you don't know what a negative looks like it can be hard to know if that's really a positive, so it's good to have a control - and they're cheap as chips so you don't mind wasting one!

First response were the best for me testing the day I was due.

mammyofaweeprincess · 05/08/2017 22:11

If you're not due until Friday then you're too early for any test to work! Good luck when you test again

YouCantArgueWithStupid · 06/08/2017 17:06

FRER is the only test that gave me a true line even a week over due with this pregnancy. All the others were very faint lines.

mammyofaweeprincess · 08/08/2017 03:59

Thanks girls for your advice, I'll wait till Friday am not wasting any more money or stressing out. Where can I get this frer one that everyone is talking about though?xx

Most pharmacies. The full name is First Response Early Result.

MrsMalone83 · 08/08/2017 08:33

Superdrug early results are as good as frer in my experience

You can get 2 boxes (of 2) frer on amazon prime for around £15

laura1306 · 08/08/2017 08:39

I bought 79p home bargains dip strips and they read it 3-4 days before my period was even due even though it didn't state on the packet, I was just impatient!!

Hotpinkangel19 · 08/08/2017 15:18

Not superdrug!!!! FRER are accurate.

mrssarahtaylor1987 · 08/08/2017 18:43

I used clear blue the one that tells You how long ago you conceived! I have tried every one on the market as I had been trying for over 4 years! I also used the cheap dr ones of amazon as it can become expensive! X
