Some of you may remember me from earlier this year when I got a lot of support in here after I suffered a missed miscarriage in January and another miscarriage in May. We were advised by the docs to stop trying while they did tests (I live abroad and am lucky enough to have private Healthcare- I know I wouldn't get all this in the UK on the NHS!) We used condoms for two months but this month the tests all came back clear and we were told we could try again smile

Anyway so my fertile window was between 19th- 24th and during that time we DTD three times. Would have been more but DH was ill unfortunately. For a couple of days now I've noticed that my nipples are sore and enlarged, also that those little bumps that come up during pregnancy seem to be more noticeable. But the problem is that I don't know if I'm just imagining this because I'm so desperate to be pg! Is it even possible to have symptoms this early? Please either tell me that it is, or slap me round the face!

It's not possible to know this early I'm afraid. You're several days ahead of when implantation can occur. Your progesterone can start rising which can generate some 'symptoms', but up to 75% of fertilised eggs won't implant and you also get the progesterone rise before a period.

You won't know you're pregnant and likely to stay that way until your period is due or maybe a few days before. If you're struggling this much then I honestly think you need to get some strategies in place to help manage your feelings and not least to distract yourself between ovulating and your period. Do you have anyone to talk to about this? Can you throw yourself into work/socialising etc?

If your fertile season ended on the 24th I would say today is way too early for any symptoms. Hopefully the symptoms will start showing next weekend maybe.

I know you're right :( I'm not struggling too much, it's just I really want to know!

You've posted two threads, you've used the word 'desperate' twice, you're frantic at 3dpo. No power on this earth can tell you right now whether this is your month or not. You have to find a way to chill, because taking your own temperature every five minutes won't get you pregnant and will make you insane.

PollyCazaletWannabe · 28/07/2017 08:36

You're right, I know

Sorry, posted too soon. I agree that I need to chill a bit. It's just difficult after everything that has happened this year :(

I get it, believe me. I've had both a miscarriage and a TFMR. But the best thing you can do is focus on other areas of your life during ttc, and carry on as though it ISN'T happening this month.

I've been in this exact position after 2MC OP. As other posters have said, it's too soon to tell, I know this isn't going to stop you obsessing, but try and distract yourself Flowers
