Are you really more fertile after an early loss?

Just that really. Is there any truth in the oft repeated 'you're more fertile just free. Chemical/early loss.'?

Anyone able to point me towards some actual data? Or is it just one of those myths like 'difficult pregnancy way baby' that people say to mollify you?

I thought it was that your fertility returns as normal very quickly, so there is actually no reason to wait as used to be suggested in the past. I was pregnant again within weeks of a miscarriage with no problems.

Just after, not just free....bloody autocorrect.

Yes I can't see a mechanism somehow ... just feeling a tad gloomy today. Nil desperandum....

Everyone is different. I had a mc in Feb and I'm still trying. Starting IUI soon. Good luck to you.

I wasn't - either time... still waiting hoping 11 months after my first chemical and 4 months after my second...

It's shit.

I was told that after a late mc and sure enough, I was pregnant six weeks later. I'm not normally very fertile at all; took years for the one I lost.
