Once again af rears her unwelcome head. Starting to feel like it's never going to happen Sad. Been ttc less than a year so I know it's not anything that would been seen as unusual, I guess I was just a bit naive and thought it would happen quickly. Anyone else feeling the same?

Hi ruby, sorry to hear that. I'm on cycle one but my body doesn't seem to be doing what it's meant to (e.g. I ovulated a few days ago, or thought I did, and now have a massive bbt drop which is stressing me out) so I totally get the frustration - and I'm much earlier in than you are! I think it's completely normal to be feeling as you are. I am sure it will happen though!

Just remember, the odds are with you not against you! Baby dust xx

Yup. At the 10 month mark my gp insultingly prescribed me antidepressants instead of offering solutions to the problem (not getting pregnant). The next cycle I had a chemical so they won't offer me any testing for another year from then (that was march).

Now going private for tests after ttc for 15 months with never getting beyond 4w+3...

I'm more resigned to it now. I know I've done everything I can. The infertility threads are full of far worse stories. This is a lesson in patience and that there is only so much you can control.

It's shit isn't it.
I have been ttc no 2 for nearly a year and every month is like a rollercoaster, you feel excited, optimistic and hopeful, then it all comes crashing down when af appears.

I did have some tests earlier in the year, which were all normal, no obvious reason why it's not happening, plus have had a weird chemical/pregnancy of unknown location in December so they are not going to do anything further until August.

I'm 37, and not getting any younger, plus the gap between ds and no 2 is getting a lot bigger than we wanted.

I feel your pain. Fingers crossed for next cycle Flowers

Thank you all for your kind words, trying to keep focused on the new cycle. Fingers crossed and baby dust to you all xxx
