Ultrasound confirmed ovaries are polycystic, what's the next step?

I paid for a private internal ultrasound a couple of weeks ago, which confirmed that my ovaries are polycystic in appearance. My cycles are also irregular (30 - 53 days), and I don't seem to get an LH surge until late into my cycle, so am assuming I have a short luteal phase too. I am gutted, feeling like a fertility failure, and have booked an NHS appointment to follow up.

What are my next steps? We are TTC, and I just want to know what I need to ask for so that I can get some treatment to sort my body out!

Any advice appreciated.
