PMA Express to BFP Thread #5

So we are rolling on to thread #five –
We are not giving up, our PMA is still alive.

Put pure and simply,
We want to have babies,
God, please help everyone of these lovely ladies.

We support each other,

And we will not be giving up,
Until we see that thick BFP line.

Phase yes!!!!!! Oh how kind the Easter Bunny has been this weekend!!!! I'm so pleased for you!!! Now the obligatory; how you did it, tips, clues, how many cycles??? Tell us everything!!!! 💕🥂💐🎉

I didn't OPK this cycle as relaxed BUT the ONLY thing I did different was drink a shit load of 'Raspberry Tea' by Heath & Heather. It has the raspberry leaf in it plus some fruity flavours so a little more palatable . I drank equivalent of 3 cups a day from cd1. I'd make 2 cups up in a jug, cool and drink straight from fridge.its very refreshing as I couldn't drink that much hot fruit tea a day and another hot cup during day when I needed it.I bought it from Holland & Barrett. I stopped drinking it once I thought ovulation was over.

Still on Pregnacare, and didn't get round to buying the gels.

Because my last cycle was nearly 32 days I seem to ov earlier on the following cycle. The ewcm was literally hanging off me (tmi). I've never seen that much.

We Dtd cd 7/10/13/15/19. Nothing really different and I didn't get any ov pain like I usually do.

Congrats phase! So chuffed for you. This must be lucky thread number 5. I'm only 3dpo so a while for me to go before I test. I'm on holiday in Cornwall with my DH and my parents so it's passing quite nicely at the moment. I've attached a photo of where we are for those who were interested.

Congrats phase. These BFPs seem to be rolling in now.

I could do with some of that luck rubbed off of me tbh right about now..!

phase I'm so pleased the relaxed cycle worked for you. And it's soooo good to have another grad on the thread :))

I relaxed last cycle for my sanity more than anything else but as my dp isn't fully on board with ttc yet I don't get to dtd that often so I've decided to use opks this cycle and I'm on a mission now to join you grads.

Incidentally I would like to say thank you to the grads for staying and wanting to stay and as a member of this group who is still ttc#1 (at 38 years old and too many cycles along the road).... I want to send out big Pma vibes to everyone still ttc .... I love the fact that we're a mixed bag of ladies in that some of us have kids and are ttc more dcs .... some are fresh grads and some of us well .... you know the rest .... I guess what I'm trying to say is .... it's much as it's nice that we all have different experiences.... there's no denying that this is at times a very tough journey .... but this express train .... bus whatever you wish to call it ..... is definitely taking us all to destination bfp and we are all here to support each other regardless of which stage your at .... I don't think we need to worry too much about the list .... it's too much effort .... I think we will all be keeping each other posted as appropriate.... unless of course anyone wants to do it ....

Fab words hippy, total pma all the way ladies, we can do this!!!!! I'm 4dpo and trying this positive mind thingy by telling myself I'm getting my bfp this cycle, practically willing my body along!!! Just wish there was something we could do to affect it during the tww!!!

Just played this full blast in the shower while having a wee dance to myself. obviously when my eyes are closed i am beyoncé, paler, with freckles, and slightly less toned (hahaha i can't even type that without laughing) but hey, that's the small details.

Good Morning Ladies!

I've been checking in all weekend but haven't had chance to post anything (whenever DS saw me on the iPad he would shout at me saying "It's my iPad, get away!!") I've created a monster

Anyway OMG Bella and Phase!!! Over the bloody moon for you both!

We were well overdue some BFP's and then 2 come along at once!

Although the Negative Nancy in my head is now telling me that there must be something wrong with me/DH as we're now 10 months in and not even a whiff of a BFP whilst it seems to be happening much quicker for everyone else

But in the spirit of PMA I'm going to stop being a Debbie Downer and stop worrying about it for now. The sun is shining, I'm feeling nice and refreshed after the long weekend and my FW isn't too far away

Morning Archies ... it's absolutely normal to feel down ... the ttc journey is tough ... every month feels like an eternity .... I think no matter what your circumstances are .... everyone of us on here is over the moon the see a bfp .... but there's always that voice that says .... 'it's not fair.... I want my bfp' ... well life isn't fecking fair ... took me 30+ years to realise this .... however i have also realised that there is infinite positivity and good luck to go around everyone ... and this includes bfps .... you're right of course ... these bfps were well overdue and so are everybody else's ... as the program so rightly says ... there is one born every minute and on that basis there are plenty of bfps to go round and they will spread like wild fire across this spread .... come on .... who could argue that bellas attitude isn't contagious? She laughed in the face of adversity ... and for that I hold her in very high regard ... she's set a good example and I'm confident that more bfps are just round the corner ..... remember we're not all getting off at the same spot ... but we are all going to destination bfp xxxxxx

Thank you so much Hippy, that's given me a kick up the bum to start being positive again. I just honestly never knew how much of an emotional roller coaster ttc can be! We'll all be looking back on this next year when we have our gorgeous babies in our arms like "do you remember how stressed we were getting every month?!?!"

I was going to say just that @ArchiesMamaBird! I constantly marvel at DD wondering how the hell she got to be so big and grown up?? I have almost no recollection of TTC last time and even pregnancy memories are a bit vague! "This too shall pass" and we shall all be upduffed when the time is right xx
