PMA Express to BFP Thread #5

So we are rolling on to thread #five –
We are not giving up, our PMA is still alive.

Put pure and simply,
We want to have babies,
God, please help everyone of these lovely ladies.

We support each other,
We are funny and kind,
And we will not be giving up,
Until we see that thick BFP line.

So af arrived, and PMA is in short supply but three good things are:

1. It's sunny again!
2. Having a lovely steak salad for dinner tonight.
3. My DH is great and we have a lovely life even without babies in it.

flash sorry to hear af arrived ... completely understand how pma destroying she can be .... love your 3 things though ... I always think the same as your #3 .... grateful that I have a dp that loves me and looking forward to when he proposes to me in June .... I hate writing my dp on here ... I am a great believer in marriage ... sadly my first one didn't work out but it's made me realise how much better my relationship is with my dh to be 😝

aw sorry @Flashinthepan doing 3 things today on cd1 is bloody hard so well done chic. i think cd1-4 we should all be allowed a holiday, to somewhere sunny without people around, i'm sure crime rates would go down if we were on a beautiful deserted island for those 4 days #lovely3things xx

@Bella I saw a midwife at my gp surgery first but should have seen gp first apparently to get a referral to the hospital so I did things arse about face! Just meant I had to wait longer to get a date for 12 week scan. So it is great you are getting the ball rolling! I used to take a daily antihistamine, not a strong one though just an over the counter one but i haven't actually noticed a difference. Hopefully they can sort you out with something! Maybe something natural you could try?

1. I have the most gorgeous DS who is an absolute angel and I can't wait to pick him up from nursery tonight
2. Me and DH made up last night and had fab spontaneous make up sex
3. Today is my Friday (I only work 3 days a week) so I'm looking forward to 4 days of fun with DS

It's crazy, feels like it was months ago and you should be halfway through your pregnancies by now! Where is this year going?

thanks @Moo31 a BFP should come with an instruction manual shouldnt it? do this first, that later etc! i have friends and family with children but i think they'll be frightened to tell me too much as i'm quite the independent type BUT i don't feel that just now at all, i'm feeling very needy actually #weirdhormones x

8 weeks 6 days here. First mw apt next week at 9+5

At least it'll seem like a shorter wait until the scan. Speaking of which... someone says hi! Apologies if I've posted that before!

Those still due a BFP, honestly I can't recommend a relaxed month enough, and I'm sure I'm not the only one!

Sorry Hippy I missed your post about your DP proposing. But how bloody exciting!! Hopefully you'll have lots to celebrate that month with a little #babyhippy in your tummy

Haha ladies, it actually feels like I should be onto my second pregnancy already yet here I am..... 10 weeks & 3 days down 😂😂 In all seriousness, like moo I'm also starting to feel a lot better and 13 days to go until my scan so I'm starting to enjoy this and will do even more so after a (hopefully) successful 12 week scan!

Omg hippy - you have so much to look forward to!! I loved when DH proposed to me! I was riding high for ages after! Do you know how he's going to do it?

bella I went to see my GP first then the GP booked me in with midwife. It was lovely to have it confirmed by them!
My three things:

1. As mentioned earlier, the sickness is beginning to leave and I'm starting to enjoy food again! I loved my eggs & avocado toast this morning.
2. It's 17 days until we go on holiday to Italy and I'm super excited for sunshine.
3. It's my weekend tomorrow. Thank f**k it's friday Wednesday....

HOLD UP... i thought you didn't get a scan til 12wks? what's going on? gotta get me a bit of that. know i'm 4wks and 2 days but still, wee scan in a months time would be lovely (if for the right reasons that is)! #jealousbella

It was a private reassurance scan @BellaMoon at 7 weeks 3 days!

Depending on your area there's often places that do deals, mine was only £30!

Saw and heard a lovely heartbeat, which hopefully is a good sign of things to come!

@Bella I know I feel so clueless about the whole thing! Oh bought me "What To Expect When You're Expecting" - it's a bit like an instruction manual haha! I freaked out for the first few weeks then calmed down after we had our early scan but can feel myself freaking out again coming up to 12 week scan #rollercoaster #screamifyouwannagofaster

Lol we might actually have discussed schools haha! You'll all know the history of religion in NI and oh and I are "mixed" so I think we'll go for integrated education which limits our choices. Jeepers we're getting ahead of ourselves aren't we! Haha!

I'm 10+5 today. Scan is next Wed. Eek! So not quite halfway but approaching the one third mark!

So according to my EWCM I think I might be due to OV in the next few days. Which would give me a due date of 2nd week of January. I had a bad time giving birth to DS so I've been told I'll have to have planned C sections in future which they tend to perform at 39 weeks (I think) which would mean baby would be born first week of January. Which is only a few days after DS's birthday. What's the betting that this will be our month and we'll just be mega skint in Dec/Jan for the rest of our lives?

@AmandaP86x hope you are feeling better soon.relax as much as you can. Could be ov. Ithink I also ov early on some cycles. I can get ewcm from CD9

@Moo31 no GP appointment yet as I remember from last time they won't even book me in until I'm at least 8 weeks I guess I'm 4+2 based on LMP.

I'll book it in in another month. This part of pregnancy doesn't feel real until appointments/scans etc.
