@Busymee it's so frustrating isn't it? Don't beat yourself up about testing early, I took one at 3 dpo 🙈 Ridiculous!! Obviously bfn, got my fingers x for you though 😊

KR24 · 13/04/2017 14:13

Ladies I have Searched high and low and couldn't find first response every shop was sold out ! Must be all of us snapping them up lol so I've went with Superdrug own make early detection. Anyone had previous experience with these? Heard very mixed reviews

Flossylolly85 · 13/04/2017 14:21

@KR24 I don't have personal experience of them, but heard they are quite good because they have a sensitivity of 10mui. x

Hopelessworrier84 · 13/04/2017 14:25

8 dpo and feel terrible today. And have thrush (Sorry, tmi). Feeling very emotional and keep tearing up. Keeping my head down in the office.

Mammabear31 · 13/04/2017 14:27

I used a FRER yesterday (11dpo) and an IC. Got a faint positive on the FRER but a negative on the IC. This morning I got a faint positive on a CB non-digi and an absolute squinter on the IC (10mlu). I've got a digital that I'm going to use once the lines get darker...fingers crossed that happens!

DappledThings · 14/04/2017 06:55

Just got BFN on a IC. 9DPO, totally pointless to test this early. Why do we do it?!

Oysterbabe · 14/04/2017 07:09

It is so hard to wait because getting pregnant is about the most exciting thing that will ever happen to you. :)
But try, testing early leads to madness. Don't keep the tests in the bathroom, keep them downstairs somewhere and only put one in the bathroom the night before you are due to test. Get up in the morning and flush away that FLU, just make yourself do it.

Panicked when 3 came back looking negative, then the digital flashed up....how is it that it's positive yet the other 3 are so faint???

DappledThings · 14/04/2017 07:35

Oyster You're totally right. Good idea to only keep one upstairs. Sunday is 11 DPO and earliest I've had a positive (twice).

Mammabear31 Faint is still positive! I can definitely see it on the pink one

Lolly34h · 14/04/2017 08:21

I'm due on today so I tested had a bfn so I guess I'm out this month

ERog84 · 14/04/2017 08:33

@Mammabear31 What were the other tests you used today? I want to do a digital but a bit paranoid incase it comes up negative!

Mammabear31 · 14/04/2017 08:42

One was an early response own brand from Lloyds (25mlu on the packet Hmm) one was a Tesco, one was an IC. I'm just surprised that my lines aren't darker, intact I'd convinced myself it was a chemical until the digital shower "pregnant". Thoughts?

ERog84 · 14/04/2017 08:44

@Mammabear31 The own brand ones aren't as sensitive. I'm going to do a digital now....cross your fingers 😊

Mammabear31 · 14/04/2017 08:47

Fingers crossed!!!

I went to 4 different shops yesterday and nowhere had any FRER, plus none on prime anymore. They used to be everywhere!

pickledsausage · 14/04/2017 08:58

Congrats to all the BFPs!!

I'm 6 dpo and the madness is setting in, I've been very zen up until now and now feeling impatient and symptom spotting like a crazy person. Sore boobs & increased discharge (soz tmi)....but maybe that's every month and I just don't notice as am too busy trying to just get on with things.

It's coming up a year since my last mc as well so that is playing on my mind that it's been so long since anything has happened.

ERog84 · 14/04/2017 09:10

It's all good 😊😊😊

KR24 · 14/04/2017 09:21

Think I'm out this month as well, BFN today and no AF Hmm

Lee1977 · 14/04/2017 09:40

@ERog84 congrats xx

Flossylolly85 · 14/04/2017 10:14

@KR24 but the fact af still hasn't showed is positive! It's so annoying when you don't get either because you still feel in limbo. Still no af for me either may test again Sunday or Monday if still nothing? Feel like I'm just torturing myself though as really don't think I am? x

KR24 · 14/04/2017 10:22

@Flossylolly85 I feel the same don't want to keep testing as I used the ultra sensitive ones so if I was pregnant then I think I would have at least got a faint line. Think I will just wait it out, let me know if you do anymore tests :)

mummabear30 · 14/04/2017 10:37

Congratulations on all the bfps FlowersFlowers 5dpo and staying strong ATM how long will that last

6DPO here and staring at the FRER's in the bathroom!!! 😂

pickledsausage · 14/04/2017 11:02

When will you be testing mumma and hot?

Oysterbabe · 14/04/2017 11:03

I did a lot of reading and googling during the various twws when trying for DD. Now I basically ignore any symptoms during the first 7-9 days. During this time the progesterone and oestrogen levels are rising and cause many of the symptoms associated with pregnancy. Then at about 7 days onwards either implantation happens and the hormones continue to rise or it doesn't and they gradually start to reduce until they are low enough for AF to happen.

I started to just know i wasn't pregnant as the symptoms I'd been obsessing about faded away each month in the second half of the tww. The month I conceived DD my boobs were still very sore at 12DPO and I knew I was on to something.

So my tip for trying to make the tww shorter, ignore the first week because symptoms are not caused by pregnancy hormones.

Of course all bodies are different and like to mess with us :)
