Hey guys when do You all do your opks is it morning then before bed.
My app says I ovulate on 4th so just took an opk the pic is below.
I've only got 1 left so will take that in the morning. Can you buy opks from the high street shops. I'm gonna order some off eBay now.
Can you girls please show me your positive opks so I know what I'm looking at lol xx

blue Mine has gone blank again! Maybe I've missed it but I might have been drinking too much. Think I'll do one more before bed then back to just twice a day and continue DTD every other day until I'm sure fertile window is over.

Hi girls!! I'm still here!! 5 weeks tomorrow and feeling pretty good! Not as tired as I was in the tww. Don't really have any symptoms though didn't have any with ds so not worrying too much. Had a bit of a cramp in my side between my ribs and hips for a few days but it's away today (tmi think it's my digestive system slowing down!)

Am sure my stomach muscle are gone to pot cos I already feel they are relaxed and rounded just under my boobs!! To be fair I'm carrying excess weight so if anyone notices they will just think I'm fatter but I've been doing weight watchers for a few months and have definitely lost weight and I'm sure belly was a bit flatter above belly button two weeks ago and I'm the lightest now that I have been since I was about 4 months pregnant with ds!

Congratulations emma, around 5 weeks pg I think you get really bloated (well I did) and your tummy feels enormous! So that's all good signs!

Here is my stick this morning compared to last night, I'm saying that's positive what do you girls think?

So DTD tonight and may throw caution to the wind and do it tomorrow night too instead of waiting till the next day.

Quick question, if I ovulate either later today or tomorrow then should I expect my period 2 weeks from day of ovulation?

Definitely positive @BasinHaircut!!!! Yay!!!! How long is your LP usually? If you ovulate late then your LP starts from then, I ovulated at CD24, and I went by last cycle which my LP was 9-10 days. Does that make sense? Xx good luck! X

Thanks hotpink. Last month it was 10 days from positive ov stick to AF but a t was my first month off the pill I'm not sure if that's reliable as the norm. But I guess between 10 and 14 days is when I should expect AF though.

I'm going on holiday at 11DPO this month so will probably test that morning.

So much for not obsessing this month, I've just spent the morning at work googling about when best to DTD now I've had a positive ov stick

We will tonight and then either again tomorrow or wait till Thursday? If I insist on DTD 2 days in a row I think DH will get stressed as he really felt the pressure last month and couldn't finish a couple of times, but don't want to miss it if Thursday will be too late!

@basinhaircut that definitely looks positive, and also my first cycle after the pill af arrived 11days after positive opk I really wasn't expecting it! Fingers crossed that this is your month!!

little bit of background I have pcos, bit overweight (working on losing it) and don't ovulate. I have been taking Angus cactus and maca root to see if this helps me ovulate along with having reflexology and some oils made up by a lady qualified in aromatherapy. I have previously used opks and NEVER had any kind of line on them at all but today (cycle day 12) iv had a faintish line come up (first one ever) I'm getting very excited does this mean I am on my way to ovulation??

holz it could do. If you have never had any kind of line on OPKs then that sound positive. You will have to wait and see though as you need a line darker than the control to indicate your surge. Good luck.

I got given a clear blue dual hormone and 3 sticks off a lovely lady @Oldschool41 🙂. I'm gonna do my 1st one tomorrow, does anyone know where I can buy just the testing sticks. I'm on cycle day 12 today ( Ovia app says my fertile starts in 4 days). I'm hoping I get my bfp this month. Xx

I've not used one saz but I assume just Tesco or boots or probably amazon?

Omg i can't wait to start testing... i had a random dip today in ny temps at 5dpo.. af not due for 9days.. any advice? I did wake up cold this morning with no duvet on thanks to dp 😑 suppose it dosent help i was in just my bra and knickers 😂 would that effect my internal temp?

Ov stick was positive again tonight. How long does the surge usually last?

I have been google crazy today and I found something which suggests that the older you are the closer to the surge you ovulate. I'm 34 so guessing it should be closer to 12 than 36 hours if that's the case but I'm not sure if that means from first positive test of the middle/end of it?

Have decided to DTD tonight and then Thursday as that seems most sensible to cover all bases.

Oh i didnt kmow that! So I'm 24, when am i likely to ovulate after surge based on that theory? 36? Either way i was definitely 1dpo 2 days after postive opk because i got postive in the afternoon of cd 12 so counted 1dpo from cd 14 which was actually around 36hrs.
And no worries.. im just confused with it lol.
My sticks last cycle were postive for 1.5days... this cycle is was about 12hrs they were postive.
I would go from first positive.. I've read thats when you count it from?

I'm so p*ssed off. DH doesn't feel like DTD. This is the day that bloody counts and he won't do it. i could scream!

Oh no!!!! Thats infuriating isn't it. Last cycle dp was exactly the same on morning of Ovulation and for the first time ever he couldn't finish...but then later that day i tried my luck again and all was well. Why dont they understand all the monitoring and stuff we go through when ttc and then try and foil our chances by not doing the easiest thing!? I guilt trip dp 😂 Did he do it in the end? Xx

No I flounced off downstairs until he was asleep (which probably did not help) but we DTD this morning instead so hopefully all is well. 36 hour window for ovulation is until this evening so I think that will be the last time this month as DH is getting all stressed out about 'performing'.

Well I took my clear blue dual ovulation for 1st time this morning it was just a plain circle so just that mean low fertility? And am I right in think I do it just once a day x x

Hi, I'm still here watching this thread. I came off the pill last month in the hope of starting to ttc in June but, being careful didn't last long so I suppose I'm trying already haha! Saz, let me know how you get on with the Clearblue tests, I've ordered one so going to start next cycle if I get a BFN from this one xxx

saz I think you can find the instructions online if you don't have them.

Least with the cb duel ovulation it's only once a day instead of 3 times a day when IC opk lol xx
