saz Oh yeah!! I have no idea atall... im googling away.. everything is conflicting about opks and hormone surge and early pregnancy, that blue test was that a pregnancy test? I have them ones aswell. Argh! How old are you children? X

Yeh the blue one is pregnancy one. Yeh I found on some sites it says it can pick up pregnancy and some say it can't. There 12,11 and 5. I'm not sure if I have a water infection tho as my wee smells really sweet (like sugar puffs) sorry tmi xx

@Sazwest I picked up pregnancy with an opk but it was a mega positive like the test line has stolen the dye from the control line. Also be careful, I found out the hard way that putting an opk too close to one of those hpt's actually make the hpt go positive!

saz if it helps I tested on opk 12dpo and this is what it looked like when I had my bfp.

@BlueSpottyTiger while generally unreliable as a HPT, OPKs have to be super positive to indicate pregnancy. As Amy said above, with the test line equal or much darker than the control. There's often always a faint line on an OPK throughout your cycle.

God knows what my body is doing to me in my whole period life I've never been late it's driving me crazy xx

Don't think I'm gonna get my bfp this month all tests I am doing are coming back bfn. Surely they would be coming back positive if I was pregnant with AF been due today xx

Hi I don't know if you could give me some advice? I am new to this and I have never had children. Me and my partner devices to try for a baby. I came off my pill in January, had a period straight away then another period last month. I came on both time on the 8th with no problems and finished on the same day. This month I havnt come on. I did a pregnancy test the other day and it was a negative. I am 9 days late could I be pregnant or am I being silly?xx

I'd take another test @Sarah1237 get a frer and use fmu xx

With both my pregnancies the first indicator I got of a BFP was when I had a wee on an OPK stick and got blazingly strong positives. With DS and my current pregnancy I got the strong OPK positives on the day my period was due and then I went out to buy a HPT to test properly.

Faint lines on OPKs don't mean anything really as we can have LSH in our system at any point in our cycle so some may always be detected by the strips.

Well today is the day.. no af, bfn again.
I just want AF to hurry up and start so i can start trying again rather than being in this annoying limbo!

I had no line atall on a opk about 1 week ago, and then them last night.. but i already know it can relate to a hormone surge before af is due. Looks like im going to be trying for a christmas baby! Lol

@BlueSpottyTiger no gonna hold off till Monday-Tuesday is af hasn't arrived. Yep Xmas baby it is lol (my youngest was due Xmas eve but was born 3 week early) I just don't know what's going on I'm never ever late and I can't poop (sorry tmi) xx

Snap I'm waiting till monday-Tuesday I was due yesterday. The only problem I'm having is I'm really constipated (sorry tmi) iv not Been in 3 days 😞 I can go everyday xx

saz oh no can't you take anything herbal to help? Never actually ever had that problem myself, i dont know what to recommend 🤔 I've accepted im not pg and just thinking af hasnt arrived due to breastfeeding messing up my normally VERY regular cycles... just strange it happens the one cycle i start ttc again.

@BlueSpottyTiger I've only ever been constipated when been pregnant with my 3 kids 😞. I really don't know what's going on with my body at all it's never been late before it's driving me crazy xx

@BlueSpottyTiger a little yeh. I'm not sure when to test again with AF with been due Friday just gone. Every time I go to the toilet I check but there's nothing there at all not even any spotting, I don't have a clue what's going on xx
