Hello ladies just wondering if anyone can help me with opk

How long do you think I should leave it before doing another test

How many days ago do you think you ovulated and how many days do you usually have between ovulation and AF arriving?

I ovlated on or around the 26th may and normally about 16 after I ovlated I will have a period

Ok so if you did ovulate on 26th of May, and it's 21st today, you're around 10 days late so something should be showing up on a home pregnancy test.

It's possible you've had a strange cycle and you had an LH surge on the 26th but didn't actually ovulate and that you are having another surge now and that's why you're having positive OPKs again. You'd be around 5 and a half weeks pregnant if you are so are you having any symptoms of AF/pregnancy?

No sytoms of af coming at all I have a bit of cramping and back ache diaherria sorry tmi and bad skin but nothing bad

Since coming off the pills my cycles lasted 44 days but last month they went back to 37 which I always was when I was on the pill and then this month nothing

Unless you also chart your temperature you can't know for certain that you've ovulated although a regular cycle is usually a very good indication. But it's not uncommon to have a cycle where you don't ovulate or where ovulation gets thrown off for some reason.

If I were you, I would keep having sex for the next few days, and possibly call the GP and say that you are around 10 days late, if you assume that you did ovulate on 26th May. They may be able to do a blood test to check for pregnancy.

I hope it's the outcome you're looking for! It's not common, but there are women who don't get a positive on an HPT for a long time, and some never at all, so there's always hope! Hopefully you'll post an update when you get an answer.

Yes course I will leave it till the weekend I think and if still postive opk and negative test I will go to docs what do you think

Well it's up to you. It takes a long time to get a doctor's appointment near me, so I might be tempted to ring them now anyway, as you might not be given an appointment until next week, by which point you could be more than 2 weeks late. But maybe that's just because I'd be desperate to know what's going on!

I know it's scary, the waiting/wondering is awful, especially when AF is very late, but at least if you know, you can work out what to do next. Of course it's up to you. You can live assuming you are pregnant for a few more days, not drink etc and wait and see what happens if you think you'd prefer that.

I would try a First Response Early Response though, as they are sensitive and tend to be reliable.

Perhaps you could speak to your DH/DP and make the decision together. That way the pressure of deciding/knowing isn't all on you.

Well you said you think you ovulated on 26th May, and your AF normally arrives 16 days later, which would be on the 11th June. It's the 21st now, so that's 10 days. Apologies if I misunderstood your numbers.

I understand wanting to spare his feelings but you're in it together and I'm sure he'd want to support you.
