Anyone else testing this weekend?

6dpo today, AF due Tuesday. Feeling very much like this might be our month, after trying for nearly a year. Will test using a FRER on Saturday and then again Monday, is anyone else doing the same? Feel like I need to talk to likeminded people this month, whereas I usually hide myself away for a week!

I wouldn't test before AF is even due if I were you. I might test this weekend. I will be cd40 by then.

I am testing on Saturday, I'm 10dpo today so will be 12dpo then. AF due Monday, I would like to wait until then but a. I don't have the willpower and b. I'm going out for a meal for my birthday on Saturday and would like to know before then ideally so I know how much I can drink. However it's not as clear cut as that as even if I get bfn on Saturday doesn't mean I'm not pg....I won't be getting leathered either way but would be nice to have a few glasses of wine rather than just one!

I know what you mean though, I'm going to be at a party on Saturday night and it would be nice to know if I could have a glass or two; plus seeing some close family so would love to tell 1 or 2 people who I know could keep a secret!

I know mrsbarnett I am getting ahead of myself....just so desperate for that BFP. We already have a DS and I fell straight away with him (as well as a mc before), so being on cycle 11 is not having the best effect on me. I've posted severals times on this board before having mini meltdowns because this feels like my safe place, IYKWIM?

I'm due AF on Tues/Wed and will probably test on Sunday too! I have no willpower! Lol...good luck x

Mammabear same here I am having the meal with my closests friends and it would be lovely to tell them, they know we are TTC and are desperate for us to get PG!

mammabear am also due on tuesday ( I think! ) and two minded about testing as only DTD twice this month and am having the usual pre af symptoms so am not hopeful. Plus I can get really obsessive and spend hundreds on tests! who am i kidding, I will test anyways

How many DPO would you suggest testing at ?

I think 14 if you have a 28 days cycle but that just puts you on the first day of your missed af. Realistically the answer varies as some people get a bfp at 8/9/10 and some don't even get it till 20! Hard to say really.

With DS I got my BFP the day my period was due. I wasn't using IC or FRER though - I think they were cheapies from the pound shop and then confirmed with a digi on the same day. I'm hoping I'll get a better - or earlier - response from a FRER this time around. I must have spent hundreds on tests over the last 10 months....don't tell DH!

Im just starting out. Im about 9 dpo but AF is due tomorrow, i ovulated late.

I am sooo hungry, I can chew my own arms plus the table, pens, papers etc. that's a sure sign of af for me. Just waiting for the rage to take over now lol

I am due AF Wednesday. Been feeling very strange twinges and quite crampy today so I'm guessing I'm out this month.. but if no AF I'm planning to test Sunday/Monday.

Cycle 3 for me but almost 39 and ttc our first so not hugely hopeful x

Okay so have just been to the toilet and I have now has 2 instances of slight brown discharge when I wipe. There is also a small smear in my underwear. Too early for AF....implantation bleed maybe?

Morning all! BFN this morning but I was expecting it. Feeling totally normal today; will wait to see what the weekend brings.

Anyone else POAS today or was it just me?

I almost did but resisted temptation, don't want the disappointment so I'd rather just carry on in my optimistic bubble until tomorrow!
However I did check my cervix which is higher than it was last time I checked it a few days ago. Trying not to get my hopes up though!

Oh gosh I wouldn't even know where to begin with checking my cervix! I'm keeping an eye on CM but to be honest it's so hit and miss with what it all means that I'm not sure there's any point. Still have INCREDIBLY sore boobs though, which I usually get a day or two before AF but not this severe. Fingers crossed for us all!

mamma I would have caved and poas as well if af didn't turn up today despite knowing it it's too early! so hang in there and you might just get your bfp fx. Oooh sore boobs are a sign of bfp!!

That is what mine was like the other day, 9dpo. You are very early days yet mammabear - your little sticky bean might not have even implanted yet! X
