I know this is slightly off subject, but as you all know I'm getting married this year and have had chats with some of you lovely ladies about dresses etc.

I'm having a break from ttc to concentrate on the wedding and the planning and I wanted to hear about some of your weddings. I've had so many congrats and excitement from you all and if I'm honest.......I miss you all and want something to talk to you about!!

Now, I'll start, I'm getting married 1st Dec at St Pauls Church, Nuneaton then to Brownsover Hall in Rugby for wedding breakfast and evening do. Theme=Gold, champagne and cream.
Dress= Dauco by San Patrick in ivory

ammy you''ll have a fab time wherever or however you do it, cos it's the getting married part which is the best bit, the "i now pronounce you man and wife" and the tingles down your spine when that happens..

We got married in Maui, Hawaii on a beach with our closest family (guaranteed the weather) Simple dress and relaxed atmosphere was the theme is guess, the paradise location was out of this world though, and we got to use the joke, we got maui'ed.

Have a great day ammy.

That sounds lovely.

I really wanted a proper Christmas wedding (xmas eve) but we decided it would be too stressful so moved it forward a little.

Weddings abroad sound lovely- very exotic. I want to be chilly!!

these are lovely stories, and lovely pics. Makes me nostalgic for mine. We got married on 21st December at Leeds Castle in Kent. I think winter weddings are lovely, so atmospheric. You also dont have any expectations of the weather so nothing can go wrong in that department.

My colours were dark red and ivory, and flowers were just red roses and ivy.

Best bit - having a choreographed first dance to Love is in the Air, best fun I have had for ages and got the biggest cheer of the night.

we got married at 5pm (I am not a morning person) .It was a beautiful warm august evening.I was in a cream dress and bridesmaids were in a bright hot pink.God it was in 1988 and I can hardly remember it.

thought about that but in all honesty DP is getting fed up of me blowing the budget. EEK!
