Congrats dani!!! Great to see so many years bfps on the board Smile I've been away for a bit as trying to relax and not think about it too much Confused but in the tww now so back to catch up on up lovely ladies.. Sorry to those in limbo, it's almost worse than AFAIK arriving but fingers crossed its sign of bfp coming rather than the other.

I'm day 22 today, ovia says 4 days till test but don't think I'll try til next weekend..anyone else 2ww-ing?

sandsandwiches · 13/11/2016 15:13

Sorry mn autochanged af to afaik...no idea what that means, hopefully not offensive!

MissMagpie · 13/11/2016 15:41

I'm 2 wwing sand.
Too early to symptom spot yet. Maximum I am 4 or 5dpo.
Anyone know what day you implant usually as I don't expect there would be symptoms before then.

sandsandwiches · 13/11/2016 16:14

Around day 9 I think magpie depending on cycle though I'm day 9/10 PO today and don't feel at all different! Hopefully there'll be loads of symptoms tomorrow Grin

RoseValleyRambles · 13/11/2016 16:25

Congrats to those showing bfps already! Had a bit of a break as I didn't think there was much chance this month - ov test consistently negative and not much action either. Wink but I've been gently crampy for two days, sore boobs yesterday, and had a teeny bit of spotting today - 6 days pre AF. Time to play my favourite game: 'pregnancy symptom, or excessive over analysing?' Will test later this week and see. Good luck to those still in the tww. Dichoto - hope af stays away!

eckythumpenallthat · 13/11/2016 16:25

Hiya. I'm joining in in a bid to keep me sane through the 2ww. I've not long left to get through it (i think) but I'm not one to test early cos with dd took ages to get a positive and been having some bizarre cycle lengths after ectopic treatment anyway. Here's my stats

So I'm 32
TTC #2
Cycle number 1
Cycle day 28

MotherofUnicorns · 13/11/2016 16:37

HI all
I am also in the 2ww. cd25 i think and maybe 9dpo.
Had cramping on thursday and friday and had to have hot water bottle. I assumed it was AF a bit early but nothing yet. Still a bit crampy today but more like a dull ache.
Pretty sure it is AF as we didn't really get DTD too much this month - I wish fertile days were always on a weekend! a Tuesday night just isn't as conducive to romance!
in terms of OPK timing i do mine when i am home from work at about 5-5.30pm. normally desperate for a wee at that point and it has been a few hours since i would have had one (also a teacher sooz so lunchtime is my only chance!!). WHen it has peaked i sometimes do one in the morning too to see when it is going back down.
sk1pper lovely to hear from you again - i hope the referral goes well and you are back on here fully soon.... I am sure i will still be on the buses!
Good luck with testing tomorrow dani it sounds like it will be a BFN so fx

xx

SoozC · 13/11/2016 17:21

sand - it means 'as far as I know' so not offensive!

Fx for all those testing soon. Let's get some more bfps!

bluesdetoi · 13/11/2016 18:34

I'm cd20 danigrace, so its getting ridiculous at this point. I have no idea if we managed to get it done when we were supposed to.

I've been having stabbing pains today so will definitely be testing for ovulation as soon as I get home (I'm at the in-laws).

Goddamn the female reproductive system, why is our plumbing so complicated?! Lol

bluesdetoi · 13/11/2016 19:39

Guys do you get faint lines on your OPKs or are they always very clear when positive? The packaging on my test says it's negative if it's only a faint line, but this is the first time I'm getting anything other than just 1 line, so I'm inclined to believe it's positive?

Have a look and let me know what your experiences are.Smile

Hi Blues yes it's normal to get faint lines at any point in your cycle, as the hormone LH is always present but surges just before ovulation. For some people the line never gets as dark as the control line but I would keep hold of the tests so you can compare.

sandsandwiches · 13/11/2016 20:05

Ha thanks sooz glad I'm not being too abusive Blush
I found opks quite complicated too blue in theory if it's not as dark as control it's negative as its just showing your baseline lh level but I found I was abandoning the test too quick. Only realised I'd deforgotten ovulated this cycle as I went back into bathroom 10 mins later and test had gone a lot darker with the proper time- I was being too impatient!

sandsandwiches · 13/11/2016 20:06

My autocorrect hates me. Deforgotten if definitely!

MotherofUnicorns · 13/11/2016 20:15

blues it looks like that is slightly darker than my baseline test line so it might mean that it will get gradually darker over teh next few days. In my experience (2months) it gets darker and darker pretty quickly (2-3days worth) and then goes back to baseline. I would keep on it and hopefully you'll see a change soon....

danigrace · 13/11/2016 20:17

Tentative thanks Sands Smile

Welcome Ecky & Rose

Magpie I found this pretty useful/interesting glowing.com/community/topic/72057594037976919/your-two-week-wait-day-by-day

Blues I reckon you might get your positive tomorrow, that's not far off. Like Sands said, I found they can take a good 5 min to go as dark as they will.

I'm so scared for testing again tomorrow morning. Eek.

bluesdetoi · 13/11/2016 20:49

Thanks ladies, I'll test again tomorrow to make sure!

Good luck tomorrow dani!

eckythumpenallthat · 13/11/2016 20:50

When TTC dd I found OPK a sodding nightmare. I used the cheapest off amazon and by my eye I never got a positive result but obviously ovulated otherwise I wouldn't have had dd. They did literally drove me crazy as they always seemed fainter than the control.

MissMagpie · 13/11/2016 21:07

Thanks dani. That was an interesting read. This next 10 days is going to be looong!

DichotoMous · 14/11/2016 07:12

Well I'm officially out this cycle as AF has shown up this morning (albeit 1 day late). I'm going to hop over to the December bus - onwards and upwards! Wishing all the November passengers lots of luck x

SoozC · 14/11/2016 07:20

Sorry to hear it, Dichotomous. Wine Chocolate

I'm technically not out yet but I should be: af now two days late but no symptoms, bfn and slowly dropping temp. Sad

bluesdetoi · 14/11/2016 07:42

Good luck on the next bus Dichotomous CakeSmile

danigrace · 14/11/2016 07:44

Sorry to hear that Dichoto, best of luck in Dec.

Well here I am... 13/14dpo of month 13 of trying (bad anovulatory pcos), only the 2nd time I've definitely ovulated (and the first I came on my period a few days later). So this is the first 'proper' cycle I've been able to make my body have, and omg I've worked hard for it. Looks like it all may have paid off... Must admit after all I've been through the past couple of years, although I am happy, I feel like I'm waiting to have the rug pulled out from under my feet. Eek. Really hope that's not the case!!
