Where are my favourite girls!

Hope you find this thread!

OP posts:
peachygirl · 05/02/2007 14:28

yes it'a a girl... we have recently had a rethink abot names . Was going to be Nova but now we like Maya better

wannaBeWhateverIWannaBe · 05/02/2007 14:28

wow peachy can't believe where the time has gone, you too wuz.

peachy your baby will be born two days before my birthday .

Jen will keep fingers crossed, can I ask - how rapidly have you lost weight. something like an overactive thyroid can cause sickness/weight loss/lack of periods, so might be worth getting checked out if no bfn soon.

I'm fine - we're trying to move house but haven't been able to sell it so that might not happen after all, other than that not much happening here, ttc pretty much a long forgotten memory as, although am not using any contraception, have pretty much resigned to the fact it's not going to happen.

peachygirl · 05/02/2007 14:32

Jen could all those Pg ladies cause a bit of havoc with your cycle??
Wannabe what a PITA about your house it's been on the market for ages now. We are still in the process of moving but have been severely messed around by some solicitors. We have new ones now and they seem to have really pulled their finger out and things are zipping along, although we won't be in before baby comes. Thank goodness we didn't pay the others anything.

wuzzlefraggle · 05/02/2007 14:33

ooo, i bet its maddening for you jen. im glad that you have found a job where your happy tho where u dont have the boss from hell

so, ur not trying but not being super careful then is it??

peachy, its flown hasnt it

wuzzlefraggle · 05/02/2007 14:35

still fingers crossed wannabe, for the selling of the house and a bfp

Jenswish · 05/02/2007 14:38

Sorry to hear that Wannabe. I'm sure that the house thing will get sorted soon though.

Anything and everything could be messing with my af's. I lost about 3lbs in about 4 days. But I lost 1/2 stone in just under a week when I was pg last time which is why I thought it was a sign.

It's so tempting to make DP my sex slave but I'm making my head stay sensible cos of job,

OP posts:
wuzzlefraggle · 05/02/2007 14:54

lol @ sex slave

your being v sensible jen. so will u be regulating on mn again? we've all missed you!

Jenswish · 05/02/2007 15:00

A bit but I cant too much cos my boss sits behind me.

She's just suffered a MC at 20+ weeks and is off at the moment but when she comes back, i can only talk at lunch really.

OP posts:
NatalieJane · 05/02/2007 15:14

God, I am knackered now, I made DS run home from school so I could get on here - very bad mummy!

Sorry it is a BFN Jen, don't be too disheartened if you can help it, you said yourself it isn't perfect timing, and give it a few months and you will be in a much better position.

Hello to everyone, wow it is like the old thread back again!!

HumphreysCorner · 05/02/2007 15:17

Jen-have just seen your thread. It could be the stress of your promotion delaying things. Time to jump on DH then you might get your BFP by the time your 3 months is up. GO GIRL!!!!!

xxx

P.S. Like the sex slave bit.

P.P.S. Sorry to hear about your boss though

Jenswish · 05/02/2007 15:34

Yeh we all don't know how to handle it when she comes back, she's asked us to act as normal but it's hard.

I'm not too worried about BFN, like I said it's not right yet. I'm glad in a way and i'm glad i had the scare cos I know that I'm not turning into a workaholic and do want the family thing.

I'm gonna pounce on DP when I get back cos I know it's too late in the month now and I can without worry!! haha

OP posts:
wuzzlefraggle · 05/02/2007 15:38

sorry to hear about your boss jen

wuzzlefraggle · 05/02/2007 15:39

Jenswish · 05/02/2007 15:40

Most definatly!

I need to get some work done! I'm way behind!! hahaha

Speak to you all tomorrow!

OP posts:
NatalieJane · 06/02/2007 09:32

Bloody hell Wuzz, you have a good memory, I was sat there thinking GOF?? GOF?? What's that? Oh yeah... I remember!!

I sent DH a text this morning basically saying if he was about at lunch he could come home for a GOF, and then got a reply from my sister that it was tempting but she'd pass!!! I'd sent the message to the wrong person

I am off to get some breakfast, hope everyone elses day started better than mine!

Jenswish · 06/02/2007 12:42

Well all clear.

AF arrived this morning.

I had a convo with DP aswell and he's really disappointed that it's a No. I've had to ask him to put brakes on for 3 months or so.

Hope your all ok.

OP posts:
wannaBeWhateverIWannaBe · 06/02/2007 12:47

pmsl nj.

jen sorry to hear about af, although as you said - timing not the best.

Jenswish · 06/02/2007 12:53

It's fine. Its the wrong time and i'm happy with AF arriving.

BUT I can't wait till it is the right time.

hehe

OP posts:
wuzzlefraggle · 06/02/2007 13:01

LMAO nat!!! hahahaha! bet she was sat there like this ->

and jen, 3 months isnt really that long if you think about it. it will pass in no time. and in the mean time like you said, it cant be helped if it happens "accidently (sp?) on perpose (sp?) cant it?

oh my god my spelling is shite

NatalieJane · 06/02/2007 16:04

Typical timing Jen! As Wuzz says three months isn't that long, though I know it seems it when you are waiting.

It is a good job me and my sister are quite close, if it had have been one of my other sisters it would have been very very very embarressing!!

I can't believe I am in the middle of buying a high chair! It doesn't seem like two minutes since I was buying up every pregnancy test in sight and now look, sodding high chairs!!

wuzzlefraggle · 07/02/2007 10:32

lol crazy aint it nat? oh and jen...did this crazy lady tell you that she'll be trying again next year too!! madness i tell you lol

Jenswish · 07/02/2007 13:02

Awww bless her!! GO NAT>!?!

Yeh 3 months then i'll be off. BTW,

I've got 2 cats!! a mummy cat - Lucky and her 9 month old kitten - Salem. They're both all black and very cute.

OP posts:
NatalieJane · 07/02/2007 13:34

Wuzz I might be trying for number 3 next year, it is all a bit up in the air at the moment, but we have the best part of a year to decide for sure!

I still really want another, DH isn't as sure, and wants me to use the time at home to do some sort of course so I have some job propects when George goes to school, kind of apeals to me as well if I can find the right course, if we had another five years to make up our mind it would be easy, but we don't! Oh well....

High chair is being delivered tomorrow, my sister works for a designer (ooo get me!!) baby shop, so she got me a bit of discount, it should have been £100 and I got it for £70 not much discount but it is better than nowt!

Jen the cats sound lovely Our cat is still mooching about, although she isn't exactly bothered about there being an extra person in her () house, she isn't exactly over the moon about it either!!

Jenswish · 08/02/2007 12:42

wel what ever you decide Nat's good luck. Job's are good as well though so good luck whatever!

:-)

Jenswish · 19/02/2007 10:16
