Hi All.

Am currently on cycle 5 and AF is due Sunday. According to Ovia I can test from tomorrow, did an IC this morning and was negative.

Am feeling quite down this week, would like to chat with others who are going through the same thing.

Also forgot to add I know how frustrating It is when you know your body feels different but don't have proof/knowledge as to why!

Notyetthere · 08/09/2016 11:51

Meg - how about you give it another couple of days and use a different test like a first response? I used a first response yesterday at 11dpo and I got a bfp. They are well rated here mumsnet

Meg91 · 08/09/2016 12:13

I am going to go into town next week, on Wednesday as my youngest is back at nursery and grab a first response! I'll join you on Monday for a test Jibberoo. I've just been to my local b&m and they had some cheap red dye tests so I got some. Not sure how good they are but I'm 2 weeks late so surely if I am, it'll show up on Monday? My docs are rubbish anyway, I'm thinking of moving to the one my hubby is at as they are much better. It's very frustrating not knowing, like you say, I know something is different but it's not showing on tests. Who knows, it might all be in my head! Thanks for the support xxx

Meg91 · 08/09/2016 12:14

And congratulations!! Xx

Jibberoo · 08/09/2016 12:34

Didn't realise you were 2wks late as well! Surely that's a big symptom to consider! Let's pray for bfp on Monday.

Congratulations notyetthere!!!

Meg91 · 08/09/2016 12:43

Yep! I'm 2 weeks late as of tomorrow!! I felt like the doctor judged me from the moment I stepped in the room. I'm only 25, but look younger as I don't wear make up and I scrape my hair back. Cos I'm lazy 😂 I have 2 kids, my eldest I was 18 when I fell on with her and honestly, I felt like that irresponsible 18 year old again today. The way she looked at me, I felt embarrassed and ashamed to have even gone. Xx

Jibberoo · 08/09/2016 12:52

Hang onto those young looks! Won't be long before you pray someone says your 1 year younger than you are Grin

Sounds like u need to swap doctors and go again. Should be easy if your dh is already there.

Meg91 · 08/09/2016 12:54

What's DH mean? Yeah well I'm hoping since he's there that they'll see our surnames are the same and accept us 😂 xx

AnneLovesGilbert · 08/09/2016 13:31

Just catching up!

Sorry it was such a shit morning Meg, she sounds like a right bitch and not at all reassuring or helpful! Lots of testing Monday! Surely as you're 2 weeks late SOMETHING is up? Did you see a doctor or a nurse? I agree with Jibberoo, definitely change doctors. I know people having babies happens a lot and they're not going to be excited, but basic care and consideration is a fair enough ask....

Massive congrats Notyetthere, how exciting! Is it your first?

I'll see if AF shows over the weekend. Still got nausea off and on and shovelling carbs in my face, also lost 4 lbs which is just bizarre.

DH is mumnset for Darling Husband, also DP for darling partner, DC for children, and only in TTC circles DTD is doing the deed! There's a list of acronyms at the top of chat I think

Jibberoo · 08/09/2016 14:09

Thanks Anne it's the ttc ones I'm more confused about but gather it's to do with different points in the cycle

Meg91 · 08/09/2016 14:14

Ahh that's very helpful! Thank you! She said they won't give a blood test unless you haven't had a period for a few months! Which I think is bizarre. I saw a doctor. Hubby is been very supportive. Yep, roll on Monday! In the meantime we should keep busy to avoid our mind going crazy until then! Xx

Meg91 · 08/09/2016 14:18

This was my last positive clearblue, I was about 4 days late so very faint but positive. xx

Is anyone else testing this week?
Jibberoo · 08/09/2016 16:20

Yes I'd take that as positive if it was mine - and I'd recheck like you.
Monday it is Hmm

AnneLovesGilbert · 08/09/2016 16:20

DPO is days post ovulation and CD is cycle days. Is that what you mean? There are probably plenty I don't know!

How are you doing Jibberoo?

Good plan Meg! Let's see how we all go Wink

Keep in touch everyone x

Meg91 · 08/09/2016 16:29

I'd have believed it if Google didn't send me crazy about clearblue false positives! I've got a midwife appt booked an everything so gonna cancel that. Yes, let's all keep in touch xxx

Mammabear31 · 08/09/2016 18:49

I'm out, AF got me today.

Sorry for not replying to you all individually, but I hope you all get your BFP's - and Meg I hope you get somewhere soon!

That sucks mammabear, I'm so sorry. Hope you're doing okay x

Meg91 · 08/09/2016 19:57

Ah so sorry to hear that mammabear! Hopefully next month xx

AnneLovesGilbert · 08/09/2016 20:50

I've been so nauseous Sad Gets better when I eat but even water smells horrible.

Thought I had minor cramping earlier but not sure.

Starting to think if I'm not pregnant I must have some sort of bug.

Jibberoo · 08/09/2016 21:37

So sorry mammabear write the old bird out of your will I say! Definitely going to do that here if she shows her face any time soon!

Was actually feeling rather normal today - almost managed to convince myself that I imagined the symptoms. But cramping back and I almost threw up earlier (takes a hell of a lot to get me even this close to throwing up so know somethings up).

On the plus side I realised I've miscounted and I'm only 10dpo today so the last tests I took were obviously too early. Also told dh tonight of my suspicions - was going to wait till I had bfp but thought he'd better know in case I hurled dinner all over him.

Anne my nausea is worse when I'm hungry too but this evening it's just all over the place (attempting not to throw up as I'm writing this). Don't have any smell sensitivity though and had that big time last time I was pg.

So either it's great news or a big old stomach bug making the rounds (and af stuck in traffic Wink)

Meg91 · 09/09/2016 08:15

That's good! Still gives you hope. I did a one step strip test this morning. Couldn't help myself and it was negative. I'm guessing I'm not, which makes me sad but nothing I can do now as we have to hold off TTC so I aren't due or close to been due around June next year as we have a holiday booked! Hope your all okay this morning xx

Jibberoo · 09/09/2016 10:15

Grin Meg you're just like me! Of course I tested again this morning (after last nights nausea I was convinced!). Still negative so guess have to ttc next month.
I wasn't going to tell dh but it hair popped out last night Shock feel bad I got his hopes up Sad but it was lovely seeing how excited he got.
Obviously I'll test again if af doesn't rock up by Monday but now am sure she's on her way even though there's a clear sign on our door telling her to keep away!
Have a good weekend!

AnneLovesGilbert · 09/09/2016 10:41

I don't get it Meg, you've had several bfps and haven't had any bleeding so it can't be a miscarriage, even an early one? It would be at least as heavy as a normal period. You must be so confused. But if you feel like you're out I hope af shows soon so you can feel things settling down. Hope you're doing alright Flowers Holiday sounds exciting!

That's lovely about telling your DH Jibberoo, only fair he knows what you're going through whatever happens! My DH is incessantly symptom spotting bless him, has been since we started ttc months and months ago! He was so happy last month and then so gutted about the mc Sad But it's good to have supportive partners.

If you're only 10 DPO now you've got days ahead of you. Means you could have been having symptoms from very early on as well, could be a good sign, you never know.

I'm not sure what's going on with me. Going to see if af shows over the weekend and if not then might test Monday. I only have one test left which is a good thing, I want to give it its best shot!

Meg91 · 09/09/2016 10:52

It's very confusing for me! Part of me thinks she's on her way, but I've had all the symptoms and the positive tests so if she does arrive and its heavy then I know what's happened. Since my youngest was born my periods haven't been too heavy. I'll keep you updated if she arrives over the weekend! If she does, it just wasn't meant to be this month and we can move on! I'm trying to focus on my 2 daughters birthdays and Christmas!! Been making a list of presents to get.

That's lovely about your husbands reaction, I agree it's fair to share the experience together. It's a stressful time, as I've come to find out so nice to fall onto eachother for support!

My 2 daughters were both surprises, my eldest I was only 18 when I fell on with her whilst on the pill & my youngest I was 21, I was waiting to get the coil fitted when I found out about her. I had a bad year that year. My grandad died in March then my dad suddenly passed in June and then Mylee was born in November! She was the light at the end of a horrible tunnel!

Hope you all have a lovely day xx

AnneLovesGilbert · 10/09/2016 10:11

Had a feeling this morning and couldn't wait till Monday to test again. Looks like a bfp!

It's a superdrug digital one, has anyone used these before? I'll try and get another test later as I'm not sure I trust it!

Is anyone else testing this week?
