Experiences of periods after the pill

Hi all, I'm keen to hear other people's experiences of periods after the pill. I stopped the pill on 10 May. 1st period was 3 July (making 1st cycle 54 days). I'm now on cycle day 49 and no sign of ovulation yet (had really strong ovulation signs-EWCM, sore boobs and abdominal pain- last time, so sure it hasn't happened yet). From most posts I've read around the place people can have pretty long first cycles but then cycle2 is shorter. Mine is definitely going to be longer! And frustrating as want to try for a baby soon. Has anyone had the same thing? Would love to hear your experiences. Thank you!!

I have had variable cycle lengths since coming off the pill however they seem to have stabilised now and are approx 30 day cycles.

My first cycle was 76 days and then they went to 30-37 days however it is normal for them to start getting longer/shorter/do what ever they want post pill! It is so frustrating having to wait for your periods to return to regular before ttc but it will happen. Just keep monitoring for ov signs and that way you wont miss your chance even with long cycles

I came off beginning of May so same time as you. 1st cycle was 41 days, 2nd was longer at 52 days! Currently on CD10 of cycle 3 so keeping fingers crossed this one is shorter!
