Hi All,
I've been reading people's stories on this board for months but have never posted (so I'm not exactly new).

I wanted to let all of you who are having problems conceiving not to give up. We have been trying for 12 months without luck. In fact we have started infertility investigations and I was due to go for a scan on Monday. It was a bit of a shock as I expected things to happen straight away and as we are both young (ish) (I'm 27 and my husband is 32) and we are both fit and healthy in every other way.

Anyhow, I did a half marathon on Sunday and felt absolutely drained afterwards (which is completely unlike me). I also did a very hard interval training session yesterday (think running as fast as you can for 5 minutes, slowing down for 3 minutes and then repeating - 10 times!). I usually love these sessions but my breathing seemed all over the place. Afterwards I felt washed out again.

On the way home I went to the chemist to get a new inhaller (as I was convinced that I was comming down with a cold and woudl need my asthma medication). I saw the pregnancy tests and thought what the hell (I spend a fortune on them). I used it as soon as I got home and what do you know?within 30 secs it was positive!

I just hope all of the training over the past few days hasn't cooked our poor little embryo!

So don't give up, it will happen when you least expect it to.
