Ok I'm due on today but nothing happened so I thought I'd take a test, it's a strange result, the horizontal line is there but there is another line but it's not vertical like a plus sign, it's diagonal?! The picture isn't very clear HELP!

Hi all, I did another FR test today but it was 2nd urine -not first as with the others, the line was fainter than Friday. Do you think that it's just because it was 2nd urine or is it likely I'm miscarrying? I'm feeling a bit freaked x

Step away from the pregnancy tests. Its just making it more worrying!

What were the tests at hospital to do? Maybe ring consultants secretary to discuss if to still go.

Actorgirl3 · 01/05/2016 17:26

They were fertility tests as we'd been trying for so long. I think I'll ring the docs on tues and see if they can do a blood test. I know you're right I need to stop for now I'm just terrified until a professional tells me I definitely am x

Hiya you mentioned on my thread that your first first response test was faint like mine, can I ask was your period late when you first tested? X

GruffaloPants · 01/05/2016 19:03

Stop testing! Yes dilute urine can easily give a fainter line.

pocketsized · 01/05/2016 19:11

Stop testing! A line is a line, you can't get any more information from them than that. Loads of stuff can make a difference to how strange the line is, the sensitivity of the test itself (and this can vary, even with the same brand), how much you've had to drink, how many times you peed in the night. I know how anxiety inducing it can be, but there is really no more you can do now than wait.

Thank you. Ok I'm stopping now I promise. I need to stop reading things online! Thank you for your support xxx

Morning, I tested again this morning first wee, barely there, had a tiny bit of brown spotting last night and this morning. I just can't see this happening. My boobs aren't sore this morning either. But i feel shaky and was the same yesterday morning. I'm so sorry to keep going on but I just don't know what to think. Everything online suggests that when tests are getting lighter it's a chemical pregnancy but if anyone has any more positive experiences by all means let me know. I'm in bits. I will be 4w3days now xx

I really don't think you can read much into any of that. Can you get a GP appointment for blood tests as you are obviously getting really stressed Flowers

I had brown spotting in my first (healthy) pregnancy. My boob sensitivity (and other symptoms) has come and gone in both pregnancies.

Hang on in there.

Actorgirl3 · 02/05/2016 11:01

Thanks Gruffalo I'm going to call the docs first thing- typical that this would happen on a bank holiday!! I'm 5 days late now and I would think that I would be getting a good dark result but they are definitely getting lighter that's my concern. I guess if the worst happens at least I know I can get pregnant now, that's half the battle I suppose xxx

Hi girls. I've started bleeding now, I'm pretty sure this is the end of the road. Thank you for all your help x

Laura, you'd probably be better off starting a new thread, as you're more likely to get responses that way. It's also quite insensitive to OP to gatecrash her thread.

Actor, is your bleeding as heavy as your usual period? Bleeding isn't always the end of the road.

Actorgirl3 · 02/05/2016 13:55

Hi daffodil it's not quite as heavy but feels like it's getting heavier all the time, that coupled with the tests getting fainter and fainter every day I'm just pretty sure it's the end. But the good thing is at least I know I can catch now xxx

actor I'm sorry to hear you are bleeding - I know you must be so worried. If this is the end of this pregnancy be kind to yourself, and you are right to take comfort in the fact you now know you can get pregnant. There have been others here with bleeding where it wasn't a miscarriage so I'll be quietly crossing fingers and toes for you.

laura I'm sure people will be happy to help if you start your own thread in conception or pregnancy.

GruffaloPants · 02/05/2016 14:24

There is a report button above each post on the right hand side. You can report all your posts with an explanation of why you want them deleted and admin will do it for you. You can then start a new thread.

firesidechat · 02/05/2016 14:55

I'm so sorry Actor.

Luckystar1 · 02/05/2016 15:02

Actor I'm currently 27 weeks pregnant, and about 5 days after my first bfp I had brown spotting/bleeding for about 5 days. I was PETRIFIED but thankfully all seems ok.

Brown blood = old blood. I hope it all works out for you. Flowers

Ps. I used the clear blue digital that tells you number of weeks. And used it every week until I got the most you can get (I think 3+ weeks), I know it's not advised but it helped put me at ease!

Actorgirl3 · 02/05/2016 15:03

Thank you Gruffalo for your hopeful thoughts but it feels and looks like a full on period, I'd be less worried if I was still having strong positive tests but no xx
