Symptom spotters, tww - ers, slightly hysterical hormone laden ladies! Regs, lurkers, intermittent posters! Our raison d'etre is 'am I pregnant?' Depending on how much Ovia (Whybird/Ovibitch) has pissed us off/messed with our fw she is either the oracle or a sanctimonious charlatan.

Just a warning, we move FAST! Our threads last on average, about a week before they're full.

Morning all! I have an urge to test too, even though I have zero symptoms and very little chance of being upduffed. Miley that is a lovely idea, I actually welled up! Found out at the weekend that every one of OHs family members had their babies before they were 21 - they all think we aren't going to bother having kids as we've 'left it so long'

skip no symtoms doesn't mean no BFP ;) I still have next to zero CM...!

Ha, skip, I'm in exactly the same position made worse by Ovia telling me to test today. But no, I will not give in!

Miley, what a great mother's day surprise that will be! We're getting together with both of our families at Easter and I would love to have something to tell them then.

Thanks guys, I think we've decided to go for an 8 week scan as OH can't wait the extra 4 weeks 😂 I think the scan prints we get will be copied and put into 'grandma' cards (great gran for my grandma)and I'm quite excited.

My brother is getting married in August and I'm supposed to be bridesmaid (fx all goes well and I'll be 7 months by then) already been for dress sizing etc so will have to tell my brother asap too because they're quite formal and fitted there is no way it would accommodate a bump...

fx what! Wow. My midwife meeting was a group session this morning and I was definitely the youngest there actually felt like a naughty teen haha so definitely not. She even mentioned how women are having babies later and later these days at 21 I was still at university and drinking in dodgy bars. Couldn't look after myself never mind a baby

My mate had a baby earlier this year, age 31 and said she was the youngest in her NCT group too.

This cycle I'm going to be a cervix position and CM testing fiend - I have started taking EPO.

I have to watch this sperm programme - but secretly!! OH is already sick of it. He's like 'do we have to talk about your ovaries every day' I laugh it off but inside I'm thinking 'mate, you have no idea how much I filter out....' he knows nothing of the daily hourly panty check, the boob prodding, the pissing on sticks, the charting, the squinting, the elation of a +ve OPK and the crushing disappointment of being unable to DTD.

I was still drinking in dodgy bars in November, let alone at 21 Miley but I feel much better for my new 4am curfew

Thanks for making me feel like a normal human being everyone - I told them all about that woman (that Ovia told me about) who was 69 and gave birth to a healthy baby

how are you watching the great sperm race? I found a vid on YouTube but it only lasted a few mins and ended a bit abruptly!

Ovia is saying I've got 6 days till test time. I sort of want to take one now to see a negative to stop me thinking about it all of the time!

vix testing early is, for the most part, completely pointless. Plus, ovia tells you to test from 12 dpo. Earliest I'd say to test would be 14 dpo. Chances are, if you've conceived, it won't have implanted, and even if you have implanted, you won't have enough hcg to register on even a 10iu super sensitive test. It's a pain in the uterus but it's worth not testing, putting it to the back of your mind and just getting on. Consider each day you don't test as a small victory which brings you closer to test day. Once you turn it into a personal challenge I promise it gets easier.

The tww is a mind bender, and having just watched the great sperm race I'm now considering every time I dtd as the vaginal hunger games! May the odds be ever in your favour!

I've caved again and let OH choose some wall stickers and paint for the nursery I've told him no buying until at least 8 weeks.

Right, I may have some news.
Please don't kill me Starky but I was in asda and couldn't help myself buying one of their cheap tests.
I did the test after about 5 wees, so definitely not my fmu. The first pic was within the 5 mins and I've just gone back to look (about an hour or so later) and that's the 2nd photo.

I don't know what to believe?? Is it an evap line? I've never had a strong 2 lines even after hours of looking at the test and trying to see imagine a squinter.
Could I be really upduffed? I don't know whether to tell DH when he gets in from work I really really want to, or wait til the morning when I do another one with fmu?? Help ladies, I'm going demented

indi I wouldn't kill you, you muppet 😂 I'm not the test master! You know I only encourage waiting, I can't force it! But I don't think that an evap bud, I reckon you've got yourself a bfp there! Congratulations mate! That's amazing! Now go buy another 19 tests and test every wee from fmu tomorrow!

Indi , I reckon I can see a line in both of those! Do you have an FRER ready?

Ooh Indi, I'm no expert on evaps but I'm pretty sure I can see something in the first pic after 5 mins which would suggest a BFP to me but I'd probably do another tomorrow morning with FMU just to check. Tentative congratulations though, hopefully tomorrow's stick will just confirm it!

Aaaahhh really stark?? It is pink in colour which makes me think maybe it is a bfp?! I'm not even emotional right now, im just a bit in shock
I think I'll have to tell DH when he gets in so we can run to the shops and buy 27 FRER for tomorrow

The brain goes mental and forgets time when you're having a shock moment! I honestly do think it's a positive indi I've never seen an evap with pink in on a pregnancy test, and they're rarely so dark! If it was an opk I'd be wondering but it's not! Woohoooooo!
