Symptom spotters, tww - ers, slightly hysterical hormone laden ladies! Regs, lurkers, intermittent posters! Our raison d'etre is 'am I pregnant?' Depending on how much Ovia (Whybird) has pissed us off/messed with our fw she is either the oracle or a sanctimonious charlatan.

Just a warning, we move FAST! Our threads last on average, about a week before they're full.

Zazzles i don't know if it makes any difference overalls wrt OPK and temping. You either have sex and get pregnant or you don't. All it does is maybe encourage us to have sex around the right time. Which you'd be doing anyway really wouldn't you.

Cthulhoo I'm so sorry to hear about your results. I hope it just means you don't ovulate every cycle, but do still ovulate, which is quite normal I believe. Or that is was just a dud cycle, which is very common. But if not, I think you should remain very hopeful that a little tweak will get those hormones up enough to get things perfect again. They have wondrous medications these days which are responsible for so many babies being born - we all know mum's who needed a bit of help to have their BFP. Please try not to get despondent and remember a lot of mums will have gone through this before. Must be very hard though 💐

Sometimes I think going out and getting hammered all the time is the way to do it, instead of temping and pos. Then I remember all the people who say they got pg accidentally and how many are just full of sh*t and then my brain just goes round and round like this.

Well we can safely say af is on its way. I'm crying right now for no apparent reason. So we can expect an appearance later. Good job I didn't waste a test!

just got home from night shift, cd 29 af due in 3 days, 11 dpo approx. I'm going out with the girls tonight so i thought I'd do a ic now I'm home so I don't feel guilty having a drink tonight but in shock now, I think this might Be a squinter

Am I crazy? can you see it too? does it count as fmu if you haven't actually been to bed? no symptoms really, some spotting which is normal for me pre af so I'm very tentative..

It's difficult isn't it, because we all know what's 'normal' but it doesn't help when you're waiting. I've fallen ridiculously quickly and the uncertainty killed me just these few weeks.

You ladies are made of strong stuff and will all be amazing mothers, at least we all have this group! ❤

daydream I'm no expert but I agree with choc on the 7hrs thing - its gotta be undiluted and all stashed up to work.

I think I can see a shadow of a line, so to be on safe side I would say if you are going to drink then do so slowly - ie with food - and stick to low units. One or two drinks consumed over a long period of time, rather than shots/cocktails/prosecco/spirits, and then test again in a couple of days?

errrr yes Ni there is....try getting 3 hours sleep on a lumpy couch being woken alternately by howling wind/terrified kitten only to go in to work an hour and a half early to avoid a certain person only to find you will be alone in the office with that person ALL DAY LONG. FX I can relate massively. I work with a complete oxygen thief that I have to smile very sweetly at because I'm an adult and I'm at work so I have to. Being fake is NOT my thing either which makes it difficult

Aw Fx that's a whole lot of sucking!! How come you want to avoid them? I've got a colleague who works with me on a Friday...talks incessantly...usually looking for reassurance and attention ...drives me bonkers, get no work done! I bet you'll be productive at least as you'll be keeping your head down! Can you treat yourself to a nice trip out for lunch? We'll keep you distracted on here today! 😉

Stark I'm so glad I temped. Even though I usually wake at different hours, and get up for a pee in the night etc it still seems to catch a good idea of whats going on with my hormones. The relief of having proof that I actually ovulate is soo nice! cycle 4...i was getting worried. If you think your hormones are a bit kinky, most professionals will be able to tell alot by looking at your temp chart so I'd definitely start doing it. How many dpo are you now?

Ni I've been off work all week so that cup of tea has been so sweet all week, but boy, being off work seems to be making TWW drag. 7dpo and counting with absolutely nothing to report but then I shouldn't be expecting anything yet so I don't know why I'm torturing myself!

I'm very impressed with our number of positives. I guess it shows that targeting DTD with OPKS and temps does improve the positivity rate. I now just need to get DH to play ball next cycle.
