Anyone completely missed a period but not pregnant??????

I am now 7 days late and got a million bfn's!!!! So... Could I just miss a period altogether? Is this normal and/or OK? I think cycle probably irregular due to stopping breastfeeding 3 months ago however I have had a period every month since dd was 8 weeks old, despite bf exclusively! Will be ttc in March so hoping I am still ovulating, should I use the ovulation sticks to check as pretty hard to guess when I haven't had af!

I've been a long time lurker and had to join so I could reply to this post! This happened to me 6 months ago, really got my hopes up about being pregnant.. Came on 2weeks late!! Have since had irregular bleeding and I' had polyps... Have you ever had bleeding inbetween periods before? It can cause delayed periods too. This was my first experience of the delayed periods though. Hope you get the news of a BFP, but if not, look into polyps, as it could be that. x

Thank you for posting 😀 I'm sure u will find plenty of other threads to post on now ur back its so interesting!! I've never had bleeding in between. I had lots of symptoms which made me think I was pg before I was even late but it is a long shot as hub using withdrawal method, but all the symptoms were same as my first pg. I was convinced! I know withdrawal not 100% safe but only waitin til March cos of a hol so would be happy if I was. I'm not sure when I will be ovulating now which is a pain for ttc soon. Can u still conceive with polyps? I did first month with dd so no issues as yet x

Yes weirdly had this twice in my adult life both times when ttc. Conceived shortly afterwards each time so I wouldn't be overly worried

Just an update af FINALLY arrived today 15 days late!! Can enjoy cocktails on hols now next month and ttc from then 😊 Doctor said body probably didn't have the energy for one as I was working full time and super busy (canteen at Royal Mail so December is manic) and xmas shopping and decs etc to organise and hosted xmas day for 14 and baby was poorly for 3 weeks so had little sleep and put our house on the market and started a shakes diet!!!!
