How long after D&C after early Miscariage did you get a negative test and AF?

Had a D&C recently keen to know when I will be fertile again. Got negative first response yesterday at just over 3 weeks. When will I ovulate and get AF?

Hi FlourishingMrs I tested negative about 5-6 weeks after mc was complete and got AF about 4-5 weeks after.

I had an ERPC, tested negative within about 3 weeks and got pg again before my next period, DS will be 6 soon

Sorry for your loss . I have just checked my app and I got a bfn on cd26 (with an IC) and a positive opk on cd36. You will probably ovulate in the next week or so and I was told by my gp that it was fine to start trying again straight away.

Thank you for the updates ladies, it's so confusing, Lillian was it a natural or D&C miscarriage you had? I was told to call the Hospital back if I tested positive after 3 weeks. I did call last Monday and she said to test again in a week. She was not too worried because I am not in pain, not had any bleeding and the test was a bit faint. However I have tested on superdrug this morning and I have a faint line and very positive opk for the last 3 days. I did have a negative opk last week. It's all strange.

Hi Flourishing - it was a natural mc. I'd had a scan just before going on holiday and they said it was mostly complete but that I would still have some light bleeding. I tested positive before leaving (1-2 week indicator on CB so the levels were reduced) and 4-5 later I tested negative.

Was relieved when AF came and when second cycle also came on time as per my normal cycle. I hope this all helps - try to be patient your body has been through a lot and is probably working at getting itself back to normal.
