why did it have to be today I realised AF is 3 days late?!

No AF and ive only just realised and there doesnt seem to be any sign of it! normally im on a regular 28 day cycle and never been late before. Husband and I were going to start ttc middle of next year but why did I have to notice today when all the shops were shut and I cant get a test?! I dont do waiting!

That's not how it works bean sprout. You need there concentration of bhcg to be as high as possible to detect it. Holding pee just increases the volume and has no effect on concentration. Testing the first urine of the morning increases the concentration because your body makes ADH overnight reducing the volume of urine output per hour therefore increasing the concentration of excreted hormone.

Erm sorry for the lack of knowledge on pee sticks, in my case my positives for much stronger in the afternoon than fmu.

AF arrived 6 days late, 2 negative tests ( I followed the rules on the second one.) We are going to properly start ttc early year so not too disappointed this time. Thanks everyone I posted originally in a bit of a panic!
