Geek - how embarrassed am I? talk about teaching your Granny to suck eggs! so sorry. Does that mean though that you can solve my problem? I am trying to move my software to another computer without losing my past cycles, how can I move them?

About Natty Sad

3catstoo · 23/02/2007 11:52

Poor Natty. Big Hugs to her.
I can't imagine how she's feeling. I hope she has lots of support in RL.
Let her know that we are thinking of her.

Thanks for letting us know Coggy.
How are you doing?

seaside72 · 23/02/2007 11:58

Well done Minxi - your chart looks lovely and nice big temp rise this morn!

Also - so sorry to hear Natty is having a rough time - I did not know her but my heart goes out to her.

Ready · 24/02/2007 14:59

Mum03, be early to OV wouldn't it?? Eager to see your next couple of temps!!

Minxi, Implantation possibility???

GEEKinpigtails where are you?? Is everything ok???

mum03 · 24/02/2007 22:08

Ready, yep it would be an early o being only cd 7, but my cycle lengths vary quite considerably. I have been charting over the last 2 years, and my shortest cycle so far was 22 days and my longest 35 days. I have only been taking bbt temps for the last 2 months so I am only just getting used to using this information, but previously I could fairly easily guess when I had o'd and therefore when af was due by charting cm alone. My "average" cycle is between 25 and 27 days depending on whether you take the mean or median measure!!!! Isn't is amazing what you remember from learning maths at school!!!!

Minxi - nice temp rise!

coggy · 25/02/2007 14:15

I'm fine thanks 3cats.....going for my IUI tomorrow ao I'm very excited and also nervous!
I've not really asked what exactly is going to be done because I don't really want to know!!
They can just get on with it!!

How are you doing?

Ready · 25/02/2007 14:50

Coggy, very best of luck tomorrow. 2 of my friends have had IUI, both now have gorgeous sons!! Fingers crossed.

Take care.

Ready x

Ready · 25/02/2007 14:51

Mum03, with such varied cycles, I hope you are covering all the bases, so to speak Fingers crossed

coggy · 25/02/2007 16:41

Thanks Ready...that's really good to hear.
Do you know how many cycles it took them to conceive?
(Just out of nosey-ness!!)

Ready · 25/02/2007 19:55

Off the top of my head I confess I don't know how many cycles, but I will find out - without letting on I am ttc myself

cityangel · 26/02/2007 02:05

Hello Chart spotters.. a while since I've posted as my attempt at charting over the new year was poor but since then charting is back to normal

I hope everyone is doing well and fingers crossed for Feb/March.

For the last 7 days I've carried by thermometer in my handbag to work silly woman...

Amusingly I do know not to get out of bed! But last week it stopped showing the temperature. It still beeps a lot (in meetings ) but I can't find anywhere that sells the bizarrely small battery.... any ideas?

Maybe its because of the thermometer change but I had a 0.3 temp rise but can't make my chart go over the cover line... has anyone else had this or manually changed it if they were sure?

Thanks for your advice and am off to chart spot tomorrow, hope you're all doing good

Good luck today Coggy. Will be thinking of you.

I'm fine thanks. Nothing really happening.
I have my first blood test next week (day 21) and an appt in May to see the fertiity specialist.

How is Natty baring up?

Hello to everyone else. Will have a chart spot later.

Cityangel, sorry, I have no idea where to get a thermometer battery from... my thermometer isn't openable, so once the battery dies, that is it... time for a new thermometer. Where did you get yours? I think I might invest in a replaceable battery option next time.

Ready · 26/02/2007 11:59

Coggy... only one of my friends has got back to me (hoping I haven't upset the other by asking - oops) The one that did respond said ...

"We got lucky on the first go, I had clomid to make me ovulate and I had 1 egg, then we had the IUI and a positive test about 2 and a half weeks later! We were lucky, but I think your chances depend on what the problem is. Good luck to her, and if she has any questions just ask"

I said you were a friend of mine since I didn't want to admit I was on a conception forum... she doesn't know I am ttc. All cloak and dagger I know.

Good Luck!!

cityangel · 26/02/2007 13:13

Thanks Lottie I'll look into the link I am not entirely sure it is the battery. It beeps (lots) but there's no display any more. I got it from Access Diagnostics Ready, it's lasted 5 months.

using annoying tesco's one today and have finally gone over the cover line. Now hoping to stay above it! Am celebrating no more grapefruit juice for a bit! Af due Sun/Mon I think

Have Fertility apt on 18th April so that's cheered me up if things don't work out we can get some basic tests done.

mum03 · 26/02/2007 19:02

Talking of thermometers, do you think my wierd chart this month (with all temps being high) could be a faulty thermometer? I am getting a little un-nerved by all the 36.7 measures. How am I supposed to know when I o - will I hit boiling point!!!!

coggy · 27/02/2007 10:59

Thanks Ready....if I refer to anything oin MN...I always say it's a friend of mine!!
People must think I have hundreds of friends ttc!!!!

That's really encouraging that she fell first time.
The nurse said that everything yesterday is as it should be so just wait and see I guess.......it would be FANTSTIC if I got lucky first time but I am also realistic and am not pinning all of my hopes on just this time....I am allowed 4 tries on the NHS which is really good.

3Cats...Natty seems to be okay.....a bit scared about life being single but also I think she knows that it's the right thing to have happened.
I hope your bloods are okay next week.

Thank you LondonLottie....

3catstoo · 28/02/2007 12:49

Fingers crossed for you then Coggy.

Lots of thermometer probs on here at the mo.

I had a letter from the fertility clinic this morning. They have moved my appt to 10th April instead of 1st May. Good in a way but I am meant to be going away that morning to see my Mum. I haven't told my Mum about ttc. She would have a fit.
She didn't want me to have any children. Having said that she absolutely dotes on all 3 of them and always comes around in the end.
I haven't told her as I don't need the added stress.
As it is she keeps telling me to have the hysterectomy to get my gyny problems sorted once and for all.
I think deep down she knows I want another.

I think my body is telling me it doesn't approve either. I seem to get ill around ov time. Again I have an awful cold, sore ears and a sore throat so don't really feel like BDing. It's that time again though so I must muster up some energy from somewhere!

MrsMcJnr · 28/02/2007 16:15

Hello, just popped on to check up on you all. Hope you are all in high spirits x

OP posts:
Ready · 28/02/2007 18:33

3cats Sorry to hear that the change in appointment has caused stress. What a shame the dates clash. Can you ask to keep your original appointment?? Or perhaps invent a reason to delay your visit by a day.
Sorry to hear that you are feeling yucky (hug) Hope you feel better soon

cityangel · 02/03/2007 11:05

Anybody got any idea what the * is going on with my chart!

The cover line is rediculously high and the fertile period is way longer than I would have set it!

I think maybe my temps were higher earlier in the month because of the Agnus castus.

Hope you're all foing good

3catstoo · 02/03/2007 13:01

Thanks Ready.

My original appt was cancelled because the consultant has to be somewhere else that day, so the clinic is cancelled that day.
We will delay going to my Mums until later that day. I don't want to postpone the appt. Hopefully I won't need it though.
As we have only bd'd 3 times in this cycle it is unlikely that I will have any luck this month.
Saw the doctor yesterday to get my ears checked again. I have an ear inf, glue ear and a throat inf. So I feel justified in feeling yuk!
Hopefully the antibiotics will kick in soon and make my throat feel better. Unfortunately I can't take the medication for the glue ear when ttc. I might give ttc a miss next month if my ears are no better. I figure I need to be healthier to cope with pregnancy anyway.

Today is predicted Ov and I got a positive opk today. Hopefully DH will get home at a resonable time and I will feel upto some action .

I have had much more cm this month than usual. It is obvious this week that it's the right time. (unless all these infections are creating more mucus anyway?)

How are everyone else?
It seems very quite on here lately.

Have a fab weekend anyway.

mum03 · 02/03/2007 13:13

Cityangel - if you think your coverline is high, have a look at my chart and see what it looks like mine is going to be!!!!! Anyway the high temps on your chart look good, hope that they stay high for you.

3cats - hope you get plenty of action tonight!
