Positive December - NewsFlash Thread!

Ok ladies, the original thread is very busy and there are lots of us on it which is great but my time on MN has taught me that if the thread gets too hard to catch up on, we'll lose people and that is no good, so the purpose of this thread is to simply post your latest TTC news so that people can keep up to date with your cycle and when you are testing etc, and we'll keep the chat on the other thread? like the idea?

I'll start then: cd23, 8dpo AF probably due 1/12 or 2/12 if it hasn't arrived by then, I'll be testing on 3/12. I am not symptom spotting, or trying not to but I am temping and watching CM. I am also scared stiff, I hate the last few days of the 2WW.

OP posts:
Impatience · 30/11/2006 18:12

12DPO for me. Temp still high, but feel pre-af: cramps, some spotting, grumpy. AF due Monday so still DAYS to go.

Good luck MrsMc: you're to find out very soon now...

xcharlotte · 30/11/2006 18:25

I'm CD26, OV ~CD14 but have been grumpy as hell. Cramping etc for about a week. Couldn't resist the urge and did an early HPT this morning which was a BFN

Still, it's Cycle 1 of TTD with any real oomph for us, and I've only just discovered all this software/temping/CM analysis malarkey, so looking on the bright side it would be a shame to get pg straight away... wouldn't have the chance to get all geeky and obsessed with filling in my charts.

FemaleoftheSpecies · 30/11/2006 18:26

sorry to hear about the funeral mrs mc. fingers crossed for your testing

FestivelyFrostyFloss · 30/11/2006 19:25

Another grumpy MN'er here. Scuse the name change again. been grumpy all day. Having a complete drama queen for a Dp isn't helping!

Day 20 here. Some slight lower abdo pains. Sore boobs. Less wind. Odd taste in mouth, but then burnt my tongue yesterday. Still fancying wine though... Testing a week tomorrow. Won't wait for AF first as being my B'day I need to know whether to have a celebratory booze free lunch or a rather boozy sod it lunch.

MMJ - sorry about funeral and good luck with AF staying far far away.

MrsMcJnr · 01/12/2006 10:39

oh TripleF! hope you are feeling better today.

XCharlotte sorry about BFN but its early days.

Impatience - not long till Sunday.

Thanks Female

11dpo! I have only said that once before in 6 cycles. Boobs less sore today, no cramping, no spotting, still have quite a lot of CM. Not even tempted to test, don't want to know if it's BFN just yet.

Remember ladies, percentages of BFP on dpo is:

10dpo 35%
11dpo 51%
12dpo 62%
13dpo 68%
14dpo 74%
15dpo 80%
16dpo 88%
17dpo 72%

and there are some who don't get their BFP until 21dpo!

OP posts:
Impatience · 01/12/2006 11:15

Have to say I don't feel I'll get a bfp this month - had a bit more brown spotting, like I tend to get pre-af. I'm starting to resign myself to bfn on sun, then af on mon. Hmph.

Kittiwake · 01/12/2006 11:30

CD21 here and 8 DPO although the last is a guess. I have felt so strange all week. Feels like someone is pulling at my belly button from the inside if I'm not PG and that seems unlikely worried that I have something wierd going on down there does anyone else get pains for a long time post OV? I have been on the pill for years so not sure if this is common.

oops sorry about double post

basilbrush · 01/12/2006 11:35

sorry am new to all this - what's DPO?? it's not on MN acronymn list so unsure!

cityangel · 01/12/2006 11:49

DPO is days post ovulation

Impatience · 01/12/2006 11:49

BasilB, DPO is days post ovulation. Kittiwake, my ov pains can go on for a few days, but they don't feel like a tug on my belly button. Amazing what feelings you can get once you start niticing everything!

Kittiwake · 01/12/2006 11:57

Exactly Impatience did I always feel this and just not notice drives you mental doesn't it. It's the not knowing thats hard ggrrr I just want to know either way - still a week until Af due though.

MrsMcJnr · 01/12/2006 15:56

now ladies, what's all this chat doing on here? I keep getting excited when I see you names pop up because I think you are giving a newsflash!

OP posts:
Ready · 01/12/2006 17:45

CD21/7DPO(if I include OV day as 1????)
Emotions have been ALL OVER THE PLACE and with 7 days to wait for AF I am not feeling positive I'm afraid to say Don't think we BDed enough (I know you've told me it was enough, but no one listens to advice do they ? )

xcharlotte · 01/12/2006 19:23

Well I think the beginnings of AF have started for me... spotting at the very least (which is the norm).

Oh well, I'm trying not to be down about any of it... it's very early days and I'm definitely not at the head of the queue!

It's very strange though - this month is the first real month of trying, and my PMT symptoms have been about twenty times more extreme than normal. I wonder whether my body can sense that there's boy-fluid in the vicinity for the first time and is doing something strange. I had sore boobs for 14 days and cramps for a week... normally would get sore boobs for 1/2 days and cramping only on day 1 of AF.

Glad to hear AF is staying away for everyone else... good luck to all those testing over the weekend.

xx

Ready · 01/12/2006 20:38

At the risk of getting a ticking off, sorry to hear about the spotting, finger crossed it is not AF but pg related. But hugs either way ((hug))

Ready · 01/12/2006 20:39

the ticking off for posting a response on the newsflash thread, that is oops, done it again

Impatience · 02/12/2006 09:00

AF for me. Two days early, which is very strange: Have always been spot on 16 days from ov to af. Oh well. Good luck ladies. Sorry I won't be testing with you MrsMc.

babyfettle · 02/12/2006 09:48

update from me - CD43 still pre-AFish symptoms, but still no ov temp shift, Tried test last night just in case, but BFN, so only a matter of time until AF.

feedmenow · 02/12/2006 09:51

I have a newsflash.....Feedmenow is eating for 2!

xcharlotte · 02/12/2006 10:49

MrsPolly · 02/12/2006 11:02

MrsMcJnr · 02/12/2006 11:36

Ready - I'm just as bad!

AF arrived this morning after spotting last night and a killer migraine 20smum - you'll be testing alone! But fingers crossed for you.
