Feeling Dreadful

Hi everyone Smile I'm fairly new to this and would like some advice please if that's ok? I'm around 6 DPO and feel dreadful. I've never been so tired in my life, I feel lightheaded, I feel sick, I've been having stomach cramps on and off. I've had awful back ache for the past couple of days and my bowels have been playing up something chronic. I'm thinking that it's too early to be having pregnancy symptoms but a little voice keeps telling me that they could be because I haven't felt like this before. I feel like I'm going mad!! I'm on cycle #4 and TTC #1 xx

I have to admit to normally being one of the last to leave, and enjoying a few glasses. I'm quite glad that my doctor found a tiny issue with my liver so I'm using that as my excuse for everything just now.

I hope your head clears, headaches can be the worst.

I went for the preseed in a tube rather than the ready filled applicators, as that can be a bit much, and this way I can decide how much to use without wasting any. Fingers crossed it works!

I'm really confused this morning Confused I did a test on one of the internet cheapies and looked at it after a while and thought I could see a really faint line. I put it in the sun so I could try and take a photo and the sun's made it fade. Arrggghh Shock

Derby That sounds promising, take another test tomorrow morning and let us know (if you can wait that long...)

I'll put a photo up that I've enhanced a bit so the 'line' shows up more on the left hand side....I'm not convinced....x

Derby I think I can see something too. It's hard to tell with there being a bit of dye run. If I were you u would be doing another with fmu tomorrow. If it did fade in the sun it could be evap.

I still have no af, but more cramping and feeling wet like af is coming, but no show yet. Still have the bloody headache and nausea! Will test with fmu in the morning if no af in the interim.

I'm out. The witch turned up. I just knew it. My cramps intensified and went into my back. They've been getting worse all afternoon. I'm disappointed but at least I know now. The prosecco can now go in the fridge!

I can see it. Honestly those internet cheapies are rubbish even though they are meant to be sensitive. I would go and get a super drug own brand test or a first response, but it looks like you are pregnant!

I've done a test this morning with fmu (internet cheapy again) and got a definite BFN. Still no sign of AF though so I'm not out just yet! Big disappointment though x

Oh Derby, I can only sympathise. Just to forewarn you, if it is just af mucking about then when it comes it will be harsh. I'm having a horrendous period and did last month when I got to 30 days. So painful and heavy. I read that the longer between ov and af, the more time it has to build up so the worse the bleed is. Us women really do draw the short straw!

So, I'm on cycle day 27 today and still no sign of AF. Last month my cycle was 25 days and the previous month it was 24 days so I don't know what's going on! I've POAS a few times (including two different test brands this morning) but all are showing bfn. Today I'm feeling properly ill again too. Nausea mainly but also dizziness, back ache and a bit of cramping. Also, I was so thirsty in the night I kept having to get up for a drink of water. Really getting fed up now Sad Hope you're all ok x

I've come to the conclusion I don't have regular cycles as the last 4 have been from 27 to 30 days and all been different. We're you on any hormonal contraception Derby? X

Report
Derbygirl37 · 14/09/2015 11:15

Yes, unfortunately I'd been on hormonal contraceptives since the age of 15, initially due to horrendous period pain and heavy bleeding. I started with the pill, then used the depo injection for a few years and then went onto the implant (just one, which I had removed on 1st June just before its 3 years were up). My first cycle after removal of the implant was 30 days, then 24, then 25. I hoped it had settled down (in fact I have a spa day booked for this Friday thinking that I'd have finished af by then!! Ha! Wishful thinking!) I'm just fed up with feeling poorly. Poorly after ovulation, poorly when AF is due, poorly when AF is happening. I feel so, so sick today. It's horrible Angry x

I thought I had settled straight back onto regular cycles after coming off the combined pill in Feb but obviously. I'm worst after ov until af and then two days into af I'm ok. My hypermobility is dreadful with the progesterone surge after ov. I just want to get pregnant, have a baby and go back on the pill to stop the progesterone and period pain! Hugs and love xx

Do you know if/when you ovulated? How long was your longest ever cycle? X

Report
Derbygirl37 · 15/09/2015 19:15

I got a positive OPK on 30th August. My longest cycle was my first one after having the implant out and that was 30 days long. I can't remember what my cycles were like before I started on the hormones Hmm xx

Oh well, as my physio (and real life ttc buddy) says, it's another month to save for maternity leave and enjoy trying Wink. I hope the witch isn't too harsh with you x
