Anyone else finding it hard to 'see what happens' and not think about it all the time?

Found out my friend is pregnant and couldn't help but feel a little jealous.

Hubby and I said we'd come off Pill and see what happens, put no pressure on ourselves, but it's hard to stay positive sometimes isn't it? Feels like a waiting game and no guarantee you'll get the result you want.

It's very early days, been off Pill about 8 and a bit weeks and had one 'monthly visitor' since then and all the signs beforehand of ovulation. Since then though, this month, I've not had the change in discharge and increase in libido that I did then.

I'll stop rambling on. But if anyone else wants to chat, private message me - I could do with cheering up!

Hi Sophie, I think what you are feeling is normal and to be expected (compared with my own experiences) if you wanna rant or chat then feel free to pop over to a thread I started - think it's called 'TTC - anxious over early pregnancy possible symptoms' or something like that. It was initially my worries over some symptoms but now it's a place where 5 or 6 of us regularly chat about how we are feeling and what's going on for us while TTC, you're more than welcome

Hi this is how I feel at the moment too sophie you are no alone! I think its normal (based on my experiences!)we have also agreed to see what happens... I would rather be actively trying properly as this somewhere in betweenness is driving me up the wall as I am still getting my hopes up and obsessing about pregnancy symptoms and signs of ovulation etc. I wish I could be laid back about the whole thing and it would probably do my fertility a whole lot of good! Wish I could be like hubby and genuinely be happy to wait and see it makes me feel like he just isn't as bothered as me! ugh! Sorry haven't done much to cheer you up!

Yup! One of my best friends just had a little boy and my other friend is expecting, so I can't help thinking about it. Similarly, my partner and I decided I would come off the pill and 'see what happens'. I'm currently sitting trying to use Google to find out of the twinging in my ovaries is implantation or PMT!

Hi everyone wondered if I could crash here?! Seem to be in the same boat as you all. Would love to be pregnant but hubby works away alot so we are currently waiting and seeing..... So frustrating.
In previous months, even when I know we haven't dtd at the 'right time' I still cling on to the slightest, sometimes non existent symptom. Tell me I'm not the only one x

You are most definitely not the only one!

I waited six weeks for first period after stopping Pill and 45 days after that for 2nd one. Don't really know about my cycles and whether they've really settled yet.

It's hard not to think about it loads when you want it so badly...

I often think I must be driving hubby mad with all my symptom spotting bless him! It will happen for us all though, the less stressed out we get the better

Hi both! I'm still hanging in here too! Going slightly mad in the process, whole thing is a bit of a rollercoaster i'm so up and down about it all. I've been doing lots of crazy symptom spotting too! Yes trying to stay relaxed would help! X
