"Casually" TTC

TTC number 2, we've agreed to go ahead in a "let's just see whAt happens, no pressure" kind of way. so I'm casually charting my cycles with a fertility app, breezily checking my cervical mucous, nonchalantly scouring the conception board and definitely not compiling a list of names for dc2 .
What is so frustrating is that because I'm "casually" charting all of this I know exactly when my fertile window is and keep bloody missing it because I don't want to give the game away and look like baby crazed monster! Last month my carefully timed advances were thwarted by a five-aside groin strain. I think today was the day and was planning a seduction after dd's bedtime but he announced he was off to his brothers for a bank holiday drink.
This is lighthearted and is not a problem with communication in my marriage. I think he felt the pressure last time and I'm really trying to keep this as relaxed as possible (for him) but that's just not my style.

LOL. Sorry I have been out of action lately. AF really has it in for me and trying to sleep and take it easy. My PG tests also arrived now whilst on AF and still feel the urge to see just in case AF is completely wrong . Ovia keeps reminding me I am not fertile at all at the moment and keeps asking me for data! Humphf! It should benefit in the long run. Not much else to report

BFN and still spotting here. Quite relieved really because DD has been such a monster the last couple of weeks! Fun using the new tests though.

Hi all, can I join? Just dipping my toes into this brave new world of MN. DH and I TTC with the utmost casualness...though he may be surprised that my casual involves calendars first month trying... we'll see...

Well...first month of 'casually' trying and i just got a BFP! I've used the Ovia app to look back at my fertile period and just by chance we dtd on my most fertile day. Took the test on the day Ovia suggested and it came back postive (albeit a bit weak). Just got to wait FOREVER before i can have a scan and make sure everything's ok. iv still had no af... now 4 days late... however poas still says bfn!

Normally I have one or two days spotting before af kicks in with a vengeance. On day 3 now. I refuse to think anything of it, other than a plea to just hurry up and get on with it!

Hmm still no AF
Boobs hurt a bit. Had some stabbing pains in lower abdomen earlier but no AF.

Pretty convinced it's on the way though. I just don't feel pregnant.

Maybe I'll test in the morning, that usually brings it on

Hi can I join in? 33 ttc #1. Fertile week is this week according to Glow but have now downloaded Ovia since most seem to like that one. OH has not been feeling sexy AT all and since being somewhat casual cannot shout "IT'S MY FERTILE WEEK"

Hi Sizzle my fertile week too and I've done something terrible to my back... can barely walk let alone dtd! [Tenses with frustration...not helping!]

Oo, good thread! Count me in. I'm now trying to work out how to casually start taking folic acid after me and dh had a vague chat about having second. We've been told by his urologist that we should feel lucky he can even 'get it up' after his surgery for bowel cancer last year :-\ He seems to know what he's letting him self in for, but we're still spouting the 'it's nice to be shagging again after such a crap year ' line.

I didn't 'feel' pregnant either, boobs are a bit bigger but they always are before AF. Not had any other symptoms really except being tired, and considering napping has always been a hobby of mine that's not strange

Kitkat - any news? Still no Af or bfp?

BFN this morning, after three days of spotting and then nothing yesterday. And Ovia is telling me to do a test. Argh! Just want to know what's going on. I don't feel pregnant, or particularly pmt ish anymore. I've got a frer but I'm saving it for Tuesday because that'll be the latest my irregular cycle has gone in years. I never had spotting with DD so I don't know what to think! Meanwhile DH is more broody than I am so he's not helping the casualness!

nope still neither! tomorrow will be cd28 and were away for th wkend so can guarantee af will come!

anymore bfps for anyone yet?!
