Hi everyone...
Only my second thread here as I've been trying to come to terms with my MMC. Our first little bean passed away at 6 weeks...we found out at 8 and I had surgical management the same week.
It's now 5 weeks since the operation and AF hasn't returned. I know there are a million reasons why this could be the case, so I wasn't concerned and the doctor said that I should have it within the week. That was last Friday. I hadn't tested at all to check I was negative at that point.
Last Sunday I got curious and did a Boots pregnancy test (hcg sensitivity 25mg) and it was negative...but I did it in the afternoon.
This morning, still no AF. Given that it's now 5 weeks, as I said, I tested again this morning with FMU and I got a faint, but definite positive line.
Me and my partner have been BD without protection since 2 weeks after the op, so I could be pregnant again, but can't afford to get too excited if it's not 'real'. I know there's a chance it's still leftover hormones...
My periods were always very regular before this and I had a 28 day cycle. I could make a doctors appt but I don't think they like to blood test and prefer you to come in and just say 'I'm pregnant'. Of course, right now I have no idea whether I am or not.
I have no pregnancy symptoms, but felt that weird piercing pain that you sometimes get around implantation recently. Mind you, that could be anything.
Any ideas?!
