am i likley to miss carry?

Hey Everyone.. so im ttc my first baby. . im trying not to get my hopes up too much though as every women on my mums side of the familys first pregnancy ends in a miscarriage .. does anyone think it will happen to me aswell? is it genetic?... Has anyone else known this to happen to parents/family ect nd they have had a successful pregnancy? Thanks everyone

Miscarriage is pot luck. It is truly horrendous when it happens but it's not genetic in itself. Try not to worry and let nature take it's course xx

And make sure you're taking good care of yourself while you're ttc - healthy food, exercise, vitamins (eg pregnacare, although any conception/pregnancy vits will do, own brand is just as good as the big names). Have you been ttc for long? Xx

Miscarriage is one of those things that no one talks about but is more common than most people realise. It wasn't until I suffered one that many friends came forward to share their experience too.
It's very sad to go through it is part of the journey of starting a family.
As broody said, it's pot luck. But even if you do have one miscarriage IT dues in no way affect your chances of it happening again.
