husband and i are not trying for a baby at the moment but it wouldn't be the end of the world if one came along. We have not been using contraception for the last month, but have managed to be quite careful i.e pulling out before hand. Had slight mishap about 2 weeks ago - pulled out but not quite in time, he def came inside me (but only just inside iyswim - sorry too much information). Have no idea where i was in cycle as had a mirena coil wish fell out a month ago!) What's the likejyhood ofpregnancy from one accident?

What day were you on cycle?

notasheep · 29/10/2006 22:14

oops, apparently one can get pregnant on any day of cycle suppossedly

Olihan · 29/10/2006 22:15

In my case, ds and now dc3 (due Dec) .

I am the person who the midwife is referring to when she has the contraceptive chat the day after you've given birth!!

hairymclary · 29/10/2006 22:18

i would say it's 50-50 tbh

only way you'll know is to take a test

cece · 29/10/2006 22:18

isn't it 20%?

BlackMagicMiaou · 29/10/2006 22:21

Well at the risk of sounding sarcastic teabags, and I really don't mean to, it only takes one go!

jampots · 29/10/2006 22:22

didnt you read Jackie when you were a teen - it only takes 1!

nobloodyteabagsleftinthehouse · 29/10/2006 22:23

when's the earliest i could test? dont really know where i am in cycle, had a bleed for 3 days 10th oct but i think it was a withdrawal bleed after mirena was taken out, and v. clueless about this kind of stuff.

well, if you are open to the idea of another baby then why not just wait and see?

nobloodyteabagsleftinthehouse · 29/10/2006 22:30

well that is easier said than done! i am one of those impatient people that want to know the outcome of things straight away, but i guess you are right no point worrying about it!

Do a test tomorrow and if its positive then there you are!

hairymclary · 29/10/2006 22:37

but she might get a false negative if it's too early

lulumama · 29/10/2006 23:03

if you have a 28 day cycle, and a bleed , assuming it was a period,on the 10th...ovualtion time , assuming it is at the 'right' time, would be around.....22nd - 24th oct.....way too early to be able to tell from a test...would need to wait another week or so...

that is assuming yuo have a 28 day cylce and ovulate in the middle!!!!

and the bleed you had may not have been a period!

sorry,no help at all!!
