I know probably most of you will think it is a load of nonsense and what I've read probably has something to do with my internet history but...

As always i'm browsing on incognito because if my partner seen half of what i searched he'd think i was crazy!! (mostly pregnancy related things) but i decided to read my horoscope although i never believe them i think i just do it to pass time, but i suddenly thought about tarot card readings as i'd love to see a psychic, but i settled for an online one. So i picked 6 cards and one said..
"You may experience a few delays on your quest for success and achievement but don't worry, you'll get there in a blaze of glory. Success may go to your head a little so a little modesty wouldn't go amiss. Other than a few minor delays, look forward to a period of joy and happiness. If you are experiencing problems with conceiving a baby, The Sun often heralds good news around children and a much wanted pregnancy or birth of a longed-for baby."

another said..
"The harvest is here; you are entering an abundant time of happiness and joy. Creative energy is high so if you are considering starting a family, a new job or artistic endeavour this is a favourable time. Relax and enjoy."

I've been ttc for 5 months now after not making it past 8 weeks of a previous pregnancy and i know this is probably just a load of nonsense but its really lifted my spirits as af came 5 days ago so i'm into another month of trying (although i must admit in previous months i didnt BD as much as I should due to being busy). Although probably a load of crap which i swear to never fall for, it's made me want to go and see a psychic or something.. either that or I think I just want to pay someone to sit me down and say "you are most certainly going to have a baby!" the things we do eh!

Sorry I was supposed to ask - has anyone ever been to a pyschic and been impressed with what they said or found it interesting? or has it actually been a scam..?

I reckon it's all a load of rubbish and online stuff... well, who's to say they don't do clever things like Facebook with your google search to target advertising? They might have similar software and know what you've been searching for. I'm bitter and cynical though.

We can say that to you, you are definitely going to have a baby.
Don't support those vultures who feed off the vulnerable and desperate, you know you're above that.
You will have a baby I promise.

I think it's a scam but during years of infertility I took comfort in them. I had a few - all said different predictions. But I liked the hope, I liked the belief and I was very happy to be scammed iyswim

I do understand people saying its preying on the vulnerable - it is. But I didn't find it harmful myself. Sometimes things are easier to believe if said by someone with an authority - If a Dr says it's possible to conceive most people put more stock in that than a friend reassuring them. Though it's probably a fake authority on the future - for me it was easier to believe a reading and hope because of it

Bubbles im glad im not the only one who's done this. It is the belief I want to hear and I suppose if it makes me happy now theres no harm (as long as I get my BFP eventually that is)
Although im young and don't believe there's any reason for me to not have a wonderful healthy baby! Perhaps I should lay off these websites though as I don't want false hope thinking it will happen soon. Plus I'm prepared to wait as long as it takes (just hard when you're a 'I want it and I want it right now' sort of person).

I've see ghosts since I was little. I absolutely hate it and it scares the hell out of me! So I do believe that there are real people out there but there are a lot more fakes then there are real! I went on a course to increase my ability and after the 3rd session of 12 which I had prepaid, I decided the teacher was a fake and I had more ability then her so I didn't go back.
In the past I have had loads of psychic readings and tarot readings. They bring comfort even if they are fake. If you have the free money to spend then it isn't a problem. Just don't get into money trouble buying them and only believe them if they tell you something that is actually true!

Placebo effect is often stronger then actual medication. Hope is a wonderful thing and keeps the world spinning.

I read tarot myself for fun. the tarot can be interpreted in numerous ways which means the cards tell you what you want to hear. I would never trust someone online. although when I read mine last time i did a yearly spread. it told me that I would have problems with my menstrual cycle which would rectify itself in December. turns out I was pregnant and I gave birth to my DD in December. I was not ttc so big shock but that could have been luck. it never told me about the cancer scare I had, or that I would suffer from severe depression and gain weight or that I would end up in pain thanks to complications throughout my pregnancy. just be wary of anything that they say.
