Waiting for second period after dd who was born in January. Normally my periods are really regular, and I know when I ovulate, but this one hasn't arrived yet. I realised yesterday and joked to dh that perhaps dc3 was on the way Grin
I'm still breastfeeding and my nipples are really quiet painful during the first 30 seconds or so, which has only started over the last three days. This afternoon I felt like I had period pain, but nothing happened, and tmi but there's quite a lot of cm. I have also started feeling sick for the last three afternoons, same time each day Hmm
Tbh I would be thrilled if I was but dd took 6 years to have and we went through IVF etc. I know I need to POAS but we're on holiday abroad with family so I can't just nip off to the chemist. DSIL is desperate for a child and if she were to catch wind of it I think it would really upset her. We're away for another week so thought it might be fun to speculate in the meantime Grin
Anyone got any thoughts?!

It can't be implantation bleeding though.. My OH has been away working since just before Christmas - we haven't had sex since 13th December! It would be too late for it.. Which makes me think I can't be pregnant? And yeh.. Missed my first period, got BFN for weeks. Then missed a second and got my BFP. It's the nausea that's getting me.. It's been going on for 2 weeks now. I've vomited once to an overpowering smell but that's it - it's just always there but not doing much. If it was a bug - it would have calmed by now? Also - my boobs getting bigger and my clothes filling out makes me think I am - that's what happened the first time round too.

Are you actively trying littlemiss? How long has it been since your missed period? Will you to your GP?

It sounds like you could be if it's happening the same way as your first pregnancy... It's worth talking to your GP if you're worried, or otherwise you'll just have to sit it out until either AF arrives or a BFP appears.

No, we're not trying. I have a ds (7) and dd (11 months) so our family is complete Smile If number three did come along to surprise us I would be thrilled though! It's not likely to happen though, and I'm thinking that maybe my missing AF is the start of the end of my fertility. Either that or things are still funny after dd. I've only had one AF since she was born as I'm still breastfeeding. We shall see what happens, but I'm not too worried. A little frustrated perhaps, but calm Smile

You may find that things are still a little funny following on from your daughters birth... Maybe just wait it out? Do you have symptoms?

Just been to the toilet... Passed a clot. And now nothing. Looks like my AF could be on its way.. Doesn't account for the nausea in the last 2 weeks though? :( day 39 today... Maybe just a long cycle for me?

Ok.. So major cramping today - I've been in tears.. Feels like someone is trying to claw my uterus out as well as mess with my back. :( been spotting brown discharge when I wipe on and off since Wednesday... Now very dark, very watery blood (sorry tmi) but not enough to fill a pad, only when I wipe? :( x

MrsG23 · 04/01/2015 17:44

My AF is usually mega heavy - like changing a super tampon every 1-2 hours! :( x

I'd go to the GP if I were you MrsG... It does sound weird. Have you taken anything for the pain? Hope you're okay and it's slightly better today.

On a slightly lighter note my dh decided to 'help' speed up the arrival of AF last night Wink and lo and behold it arrived with a vengeance this morning. So weird. DH is rather proud of himself Grin

Really hope you're okay... What's been happening today?

My OH have done the exact same thing in the past - seems to shock the body doesn't it? Lol :)

Last night was horrendous! Had the worst cramping ever - I had taken 2 cocodamol, 2 tramadol, mefenamic acid as well as wearing a heat pad on the front and a tens machine on the back and I was just, beyond help... My poor husband was so upset because he couldn't help me...! The problem is, the painkillers not me for six - so I spent the entire night watching the room spin and trying not to vomit, whilst not being completely pain free either. Then got up at 6 for. 12 hour shift. Spent most of the shift completely off my face, nearly falling asleep because I was so high in painkillers and lack of sleep! Horrendous.

Still very little bleeding, a lot of it old blood and a few clots. Only wearing pads. Pain is still quite severe - feels like I've been kicked between the legs. Will see how the next few days go I think? :)
